  Located in the Sheridan Plaza; Space Coast Credit Union offers home & auto loans, mortgage refinancing, checking & savings, credit cards, business services, and insurance. Space Coast Credit Union is currently financing my vehicle and since the location is only minutes away from me, makes it very convenient for me to stop by and make my payments on time and at any time during the week. I'm glad that I no longer have to worry about getting a money order and stamps, and mailing out the payment days before the due date. At Space Coast Credit Union, the payments are posted the day it's made.

  Great Customer Service and Big Smiles!! Often I go to the Bank to count and cash out my coins from my big water bottle(Piggy Bank) and I can really tell their willingness to help Customers!!!

  When it is more difficult to deal with a credit union than a “big bank” it is time to go! SCCU has too many stupid processes that get in the way of regular activities to be worth it. Most recently they needed updated insurance info update my HELOC. Sent the the info but some was was too stupid to turn the page resulting in a “2nd request.” Accounts have been closed! I was a long time member of Eastern Financial before they became SCCU, went away for a few years, and came back for another 15+ years but they have lost the privilege of holding my money!

  There are better credit unions out there With longer hours, lower fees, more services and not locking you in to using their broken ATM. Space Coast is a boarder line commercial bank. A true credit union would be more like Tropical Financial or BrightStar

  This location is the one I always come too. The ladies here are always helpful anytime I have an issue. My issue is the credit union itself SCCU. On Weekends the call center is closed at 5pm and for someone who works on weekends it’s hassle, holidays they are closed and most of time the direct deposit doesn’t come through till the next business day. The call center reps SUCK they tell u what they think they know but I go into the a branch and get a whole new story. Tired of this bank over the years still same ol rhetoric.

  The bank itself can be something good for Florida, if they were to improve customer service such 7 days a week live banking on the phone or having bankers who actually knew what to do in very specific and critical situations. As of now, I have been waiting on a replacement debit card for 24 days, I have no explanation from the bank as of why, so now I have to wait another 3-7 business days or 5-7 business days (depending on which person you ask). If you call the 800 number, make sure to speak to a manager because apparently the person who helped me with a fraud case didn't do it correctly? The bank is small and struggling and has more fees than my old bank (HSBC), the branch is a joke although the people are nice and location is convenient. One branch employee in particular is rude as hell and needs to quit her job if shes not happy, she knows who she is, she always has a scowl on her face, if I call over the phone, she is rude before I even say who I am (which reinforces my theory thats shes rude to everybody). Basically, this branch needs to focus on professionalism when handling client business and improving customer service, this is a bank, not a play ground.

  I find it extremely inconvenient to the customers that use SCCU for their banking needs to close the only branches with a drive thru in the broward area at 3pm during covid-19 pandemic. I literally showed up to the at 3pm with a lady waving me off saying they are not letting anymore vehicles thru. Why? Why close the only branches with a drive thru at 3pm? People still work and may not be able to do what they need to do especially if it’s time sensitive. I find this to be a unreasonable decision. Thanks a lot sccu for failing at your costumers, once again!

  The “older” women that work here are very very miserable and it shows through their customer service, they are rude , unhelpful, & need to be working in fast food drive-thru with their attitudes and behaviors. Honestly they bring down the standards that should come with a individual that works in a bank they stand around in a circle like hyenas gossiping away they don’t stop to great you as you walk in. They act like doing their job just kills them. I signed up for SCCU because they have free checking but I will be closing my account with them and gladly pay a monthly fee to a bank that runs in a professional manner and holds they employees to a higher standard.

  Very bad customer service, I deposited 2 checks last Friday, it shows on the receipt and online that the money is available. I went on Tuesday to make a withdrawal and was told that there is a hold until this Friday, because the account is new. The manager did not care that they are holding all my money for 7 days and could not buy groceries. Yesterday I r eceived a letter dated the same day I made the deposit telling me about the hold, that the teller did not mention to me. Also the girl that sits on the first cubicle it's rude. I added my husband to my account and was told his ATM card will be received in about 5 days, we never got it. I called customer support and was told she never ordered it. I finally got it today.
