  Always having problems with this bank and I’ve only been with them for 6 months. Either an error with my card or very heavy lack of communication. I’m in the process of closing down my account and going somewhere else.

  Great customer service. Britney was very professional. She even went the extra mile to get the answer when she didn't know it. Overall, I do recommended having a loan with this bank. Just not a checking account.

  *WARNING* - I applied for a loan and they drug there feet on it for 4 days. I was promised call backs twice to never receive call backs, forcing myself to call them myself. I was also told that the registration could only have the purchasers name on, called the city, and that was a lie as well. If it were not for an emergency, I would have never opened an account here. They act as if they are better than you and do not need your business. Terrible customer service and untrustworthy.

  I have been with SouthPoint for something like 8 years now (formerly in New Ulm) and they have been such an amazing bank/credit union. I don't have amazing credit but they helped me out when I needed it for a debt consolidation loan, after the big corporate banks had tuned me down. So I have stayed with them ever since. Everyone at all locations have always been very friendly and helpful. One comment I have to make on Rebecca Ehlke's 1 star review - lol go look at her other reviews - so she is giving banks that turned her down for a loan 1 star reviews. I'm sorry Rebecca but it sounds like you just have absolutely terrible credit, and banks have the right to turn you down. Learn how to give accurate reviews. Believe me, my credit is nothing to be proud of, but SouthPoint still loaned to me. You must have a REALLY low score.

  We have been working with Joel as SouthPoint for a little ovef a year now. We have moved all of our personal and business banking to them. Very easy to work with and have really helped us grow both of our businesses. We might not be where we are today without them.   What disgust me, is were you work with a person On setting up a loan. They've given you hope, An then snatch it back. There offer was as good as a payday loan.
