  I worked for Southern Bank for 4.4 years from 2018-2022 and I can say that Southern really cares not only about its customers but also it’s employees. Southern is always looking for ways to make banking better and safer for customers. If you bank with Southern, they will remember their customers by name because they truly care about the people that walk through the door, whether they are a long time customer or someone who would like to know more about Southern Bank’s accounts. Southern also cares about the community more than just surface level (What the community sees). They do things for customers that were never displayed on a big banner to get recognition. I left employment there due to personal reasons, but I still bank there because I can trust them. Their accounts are unique compared to other accounts in town.   Great customer service. Getting a loan from Matt to start my new business was extremely easy. All the employees there are very friendly, a great place to Bank.

  Called up there ask if they had a fax machine they said yes I said how much to fax one sheet she said free if your a customer, I said how much if I'm not she said you can't use it then lol, bad way to build a relationship for future customer smh, never banking there!

  On Monday this week we went to the bank. I thought they closed at 5:30 and actually they closed at five. Jessica Barnes came ask may I help you and I told her all we needed was to open a checking account. She let us in and took her time after closing hours. I felt bad but I do appreciate the time she gave and really nice.

  I have banked with Sothern (primary Rogersville branch) for a couple years now and the folks I deal with are the best!!! Huge shout out to Emily in Rogs for all the help, she is always so kind and just the best to work with! Cant say enough good things about this bank. very happy i bank here!!!
