  Have had a checking account with them for over 20 years. Still using the same antiquated policies and limits for accessing your money. Just one example: Tried to use the ATM for $1000 withdrawal-denied. Tried for $800-denied. Tried $500 and denied and locked out because I had tried too many times! Limit is $500 and they won't change it regardless of the balance I carry in my account. The tell me to come in during business hours (which I work same hours they are open!) which defeats the whole purpose of the ATM afterhours. I asked for a limit increase, was interrogated and put on hold twice, then told I could take out $1000 anytime in the next 24 hours then it goes back to $500. Time to come into this century and be a little friendly on the phone!!

  My fiancé and I both have an account with South Central Bank 🏦 believe that they're one of the best banks in the area!

  I've had my business account here for nearly a year. This location is easy access and is a very nice, well kept building as expected for a bank. The architecture and large pillars remind me of a church. There is a drive through and parking in the rear with a ramp for handicapped entry. Wait time is always minimal. Discussing a business loan was actually pleasant without any judgmental attitude. Just kind advice and suggestions. This bank has not messed up my account or made any errors unlike my personal bank. I am considering switching all our accounts as a result. The staff is friendly, efficient and polite. Always respectful even when I first opened my account with very little income to add. The debit card is customizable with your own image. The only complaint is have is that the online banking software layout is horribly buggy and out of date. It is not intuitive and this is coming from someone with extensive online and website experience. Thankfully, I can access what I need. Overall though, SCB has been a good experience.

  They are rude, deposited thousands of dollars in wrong account and took weeks to get their mistake fixed. Never never use this bank

  Just went to cash a check. Didn't take long at all. Just had to give my ID and sign back of the check of course.
