  If you work hard and value your money, stay away from this place. Firstly, their app is awful. Ever since downloading it I’ve had problems with it constantly locking me out for no reason at all. I’ve had to call at least 5-10 times or go in person and waste my time for them to get me back into it. Few months ago my bank account was hacked and over the course of a month, almost $1000 dollars was stolen from me. Not once did I receive a phone call informing me or did they shut my bank card off. After that, they spent three months charging me fees which I was never told of or aware. After running triple digits out of my account without so much as letting me know, they decided they wouldn’t be giving me my money back either. I was a member for over 13 years and its very clear they don’t care about you.

  Edit to add an update: I am unable to respond to the reply from SC Federal below, so I will do it here. I have not been contacted. I still cannot access my account. Original message: I do not recommend banking here or having a mortgage here because if you have the wrong phone number, it is impossible to log on to your online account. You can have the right username and password, but that doesn’t matter if the phone number is wrong or it cannot receive texts. And guess what? There is no department to update that login phone number for you. You have to do it from the online account which you can’t access. I’ve spoken to 6 different agents and they all transfer responsibility. They are using an infuriating phone system which makes you go through 10 minutes of robot questions and information before getting to the right menu. Once in the right menu and talking to a person, you get transferred around and then eventually sent back to the main menu to start over. Press 0? That starts the robot over again from the beginning instead of connecting to a human. This technology that is supposed to make things easier is making things harder.

  I've been banking here since 2014. I've never had a bad experience here. Ever. I absolutely love they've been able to update the building, landscape and parking lot. Not gonna lie, it looked ugly when I first started coming here, but it looks amazing now. Everyone has always been so friendly. These people have pretty much watched me grow up. Rhonda helped me get my first credit card, and then walked me through financing my new Honda Civic a year later. Jesse always asks how work is going, and always remembers my name. It's the small things like that. I never really have to wait, if there's an obscure thing I need to do. These people definitely deserve more credit than the 3.3 stars they have.

  I have been banking with SC Federal CU for 12+years. They have been awesome. They helped my refinance my life when I got divorced. I've purchased and refinanced several vehicles. They were super helpful when my spouse and I opened our own business this year. The staff at every location in Cola is super nice and helpful. Can't recommend them enough...

  Out of all the branches, this is thee only Full service one with everything i need, coin machine etc The most important thing has been the customer service part, top top service!!

  My favorite bank. Love that the employees, manager have been there for years and acknowledge that I’ve been doing business with them:-) love the location ! I don’t have to drive 20 minutes

  To do business you need to talk to someone face to face, not on the phone. I thought you all said make an appointment and you could go into the office. Help us so we can get things done. Thank you.
