  Josh R - Financial Sales Rep was extremely helpful!! I had a bad experience through the call center trying to set up a new joint account. Was told different things for each person I spoke with and a week had passed without anything being accomplished after we were told everything was completed on our end. Went into this branch and had everything set up exactly how we needed, within less than an hour. Highly recommend going directly to Josh to get everything taken care of quickly and easily. I wish the call center had worked better but for future needs, I will be calling Josh!

  The message I sent corporate: "YOUR IT, APP AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORSE! TRYING TO MAKE PAYMENT- PAY OFF PAYMENT- WHAT BANK CAN'T TAKE A PAYMENT??!! This is an unbelievable experience. I am 2 hours from a branch, I have spent the last hour trying to pay off my loan. Online, I had to ask it repeatedly to text or call me a number to verify me to make the payment. I finally receive the code and it said "payment amount exceeds the daily limit of an external transfer". Then, I tried calling in to pay by phone and they refused to take the payment BECAUSE THE CSR SAID I DID NOT SOUND LIKE A MAN! I verified my social, my account number, my DOB and my address and previous address flawlessly and she accused me of not being a man and said she would not take my payment that I would have to travel 2 hours to a branch to pay off my loan!!!! Your algorithm should be deciding my gender (Account #, SS#, DOB# Address, etc), not the assumptions and judgements of your CSRs. ALL OF THIS OVER MAKING A PAYMENT??!! SCFEDCU's archaic IT and customer service has been horrible for all 3 years. I want to pay-off ASAP and never deal with you again."

  There is no more banks or credit unions like sc federal union there all been good to me they have always went above and beyond for me plus always so pleasant

  This doesn't have anything to do with this particular branch, but SC Federal in general. SC Federal is otherwise fine, but they need to show the faces of the checks you deposit, when viewing them online. I can see the checks I've written somehow, but can't see the checks I've deposited (can only see the total amount deposited). I work for myself and get paid with a lot of checks, so this is very important to me. It should be very easy, since the ATM scans the check images as you deposit them. I've talked to them about this, and they have been 'working on it' with their vendor for many years now. Other banks have had this capacity for well over a decade. Otherwise SC Federal is perfectly fine.. fix this, and I'll change to 5 stars.
