  I am so so glad that I chose SC Federal Credit Union for my first car loan, now I’ve got to spread the word! I used to dread the whole banking experience, where most major institutions treat you like a number and are reluctant to help. But with SCFCU, to say they treat you like a real person is an understatement. They go above and beyond to help you, starting from customer service all the way to the financial representatives. They’re local, kind, and a closely knit network that are eager to help. They helped me get an already great loan to start which was my first experience, but I didn’t realize I was in such good hands until I went to refinance my loan later on. After updating them with my new financial info and asking about the record-low interest rates they were actually excited to help me get an even lower rate. There was no debating or “fine-print” reminders, just a true “can-do” attitude and positivity! The superstar that reached out to help me was Cathy M. (thank you Cathy!) and we kept communication every step of the way via detailed emails and regular phone calls. I was never put on the back burner and felt like such a VIP. It was such a thorough process but yet I was able to do it all from the comfort of home. She saved me over a thousand dollars AT LEAST. It was awesome. Plus, I got the sweetest card after the experience, definitely don’t get that with a big bank! Whenever anyone asks me who they should go to for a loan, I always suggest SCFCU now. They’re honest, savvy, and all around make the process enjoyable.

  Another great customer service experience with SCFCU! Robert was very helpful, friendly, and patient with our questions. He made good suggestions and make us feel comfortable throughout the loan process. He is knowledgeable and and professional. We are very appreciative of having a great place to do our banking and finance business like SCFCU always provides.

  I went to SC Federal in West Ashley to inquire about an Auto Loan. I worked with Cathy and she was fantastic and super knowledgable. She answered all of my questions regarding my loan and also went above and beyond to answer some non loan related questions with car buying as well. Highly Recommend!

  My bank still hasn't fully opened from the COVID-19 shutdown. I need a bank that I can go inside. I checked with SCFCU and was very pleased with Stacey and her staff. I've had loans here before, these will be my 1st deposit accounts.

  Called banking center to request a gotten be mailed per instructions of banking center personal. I spent over 2 hours on the phone over the course of 3 calls. They confirmed my request and stated forms should be received via mail in 5/7 days. Forms never showed up. I went back to the branch. I explained the situation and they were nice enough to break the rules for me. Stating they don't provide forms because they have personal information on them. May I ask a question? Where the hell do you think you got that personal information? Customer Service SUCKS!!!! I challenge anyone to call just to see how long you will sit in hold.

  The credit union as a whole is just behind the times. The app is minimal. My previous credit union you would get your paycheck processed a day early and for whatever reason SC FED doesn’t do that. My atm card is less than a year old and is already worn out. No “tap” capability. The atm that this specific branch rarely works. I do some stock market buying but with the Robinhood app it won’t let me use my account with SC fed to put funds into the account. Just needs to make some advances.

  This is my closest location for banking, which is why I chose it when I moved here. Staff are always friendly and helpful, even helping with website access. The ATM and drive-thru lanes are convenient and it's usually not very busy so I can get in and out quickly.

  Atm never works I go to deposit cash and the only way it will accept money Sometimes is1 bill at a time. It is extremely slow.
