  I spoke with Vincent Miller Relationship Manager and was advised of the denial. When asked if he could tell me why, he chuckled and told me it was propietary. This of course, was after I sent Smart Biz 1,000 documents.

  Pretty disappointed in lack of response and customer care. Its been over a month on my PPP application, no status update despite several inquiries via email. The portal is stuck on the same status for several weeks. Other banks are disbursing loans within days and we all know PPP funds are first come first served. At a minimum provide some update i.e. if the loan is under a lender review etc.

  Reported to SBA fraud unit because Smartbiz is a total scam! If you are reading this you were probably also scammed out of your PPP loan by this company. I urge you to go to the SBA website and file a fraud complaint against them. I have also filed a complaint with the California Attorney General, you should do that too

  I had an excellent experience with SmartBiz - my entire SBA process took less than a month from first contact to closing date. Niel and Michael were both very responsive as my loan contacts at SmartBiz. Supplying documents was easy - all of which were uploaded electronically and signed digitally. I know everyone's experience will be different as the loan approval process requires different things from different borrowers and banks. But I can't say enough about my positive experience. Will definitely work with these guys again and don't expect I'll even waste time looking at other options. - TateB

  Horrible servicing of our PPP loan application from May, 2021. Never responded to our emails following up on our PPP application. Sent an email today and finally got a response for them to say sorry, it's past the June 30th deadline. I would never use them ever again.

  Update I finally got an email from someone Thank God! I’ll continue to wait in my funds she said they are backlogged right now I will update soon if I’ve received my loan yet I’ve started this process on 1/13/21 I’ve been waiting literally forever This Company is either extremely unprofessional or a straight up SCAM! how dare you take advantage of people during these trying times its a MF pandemic! To cut off your phones and cease all email communication so no one can inquire about their loans we can’t even get basic Fing info on the loan nothing 8 emails 0 response I know my loan has been funded already because I’m applying for my second draw through another company Please do not use this unscrupulous company! Updating again I finally got my loan after 4 long months of waiting keep your head up guys!

  Scam alert!😄😄😄 I thought I was the only one experiencing this BS " Improper guarantor identity" after my loan was approved. I should have gone through my bank. This company practices a dubious policy. Why didn't I see these reviews before the deadline? On a serious note, a lot of people were counting on this PPP loan and you just destroyed their hope.

  If you do your part and provide all the information on the online platform that they require, the process is super fast. After my online application, I was contacted promptly by Pamela Lopez who made the balance of the process effortless. She was in constant contact with me, letting me know what the bank would need for the loan application and she clearly explained what we could qualify for. She even reached out to me on the weekend! Truly exceptional customer service. From the time I started the application to the time the loan closed and we received the funds in our account, it was eight business days. Highly recommend them!

  Was trying to find out after I sign the loans docs and its sent to customer bank till its funded, but you never can reach anyone to answer and they have had my app since FEB 2 with an SBA approval number and cant go anywhere else...no customer service or accurate or far from timely support. My loan number is 5551095 now PLEASE RESPOND-NO FEEDBACK?

  I Tried to Help my dad apply for the ppp. He owns a small company called Brookwood Homes. You can not call this company and they will not email you back. Im so happy they are Extending the ppp. Tomorrow I will help him apply with another lender as this lender is going to be the reason he misses out.
