Susan Harper1I had a very similar experience as other reviewers. I have a car loan and went into the Rainbow branch to cash a check from a very reputable law firm. The manager said I could not cash the check because I had not used my account there often enough. My paychecks go into another bank and I was never told they would not be able to cash a check at good old silver state. The Rainbow manage is awful. no wonder they have had to close 3 branches. They have bad customer service and a horrible website. Bad manager at Rainbow. Get rid of her.

Nancy2I have been with the credit union for approximately 30 years. Recently, I have noticed a decline in customer service. Last time I was in the credit union on Rainbow, some of the tellers were laughing and appeared to be making fun of customers. Today, the employee that assisted me was inattentive. This was never the case in the past.

ANGEL OLIVARES1I recently tried to transfer money to another account via the popmoney service offered by the credit union. I attempted to use it. it has been seven days and the money has not yet been received by the other party. The other party is registered to receive money on popmoney. Unbeknownst to me the credit union will send a text to the recipient and they must log on to the popmoney website to complete an entire profile. takes over an hour to complete because of the complications they make to enroll. I prefer to use Zelle with all other lenders as your money will be transferred to the other account within 30 minutes. The credit union said that if after 10 days it has not been cashed by the other party I will get my funds back.

Then proceeded to tell me how they dont help NON Members and yes get this.. People of my race. I immediately asked for the manager. What did she tell me. The SAME EXACT THING!

Ami McKinney5I have been a member of SSSCU for almost 11 years now and never had a problem. Everyone at this branch is friendly and works hard. I even got my husband an account here because their monthly fees are less than Bank of America, Chase, etc. The only thing I do not like about this location is you cannot make a left turn out so you can either go down to the light or the turn before the light and make a U-Turn. Other than that no problems.

She was very professional, listened, researched, and provided guidance with empathy, then assisted me in getting my account by on track. I can’t thank you enough for being so kind and understanding.

Nicolas M Kuznetsov1Worth one ever I deal with So I came in October 29 and open my family account, same day I request my debit card. I was planning to move my Bussines with this financial institutions, guess what, I change my mind, today November 13 and I still don’t have my debit card, crazy, I never wait that long, but they did charge me already fee for statement( from October 29 till October 31, are you freaking seriously?????) .... Please think twice before you will move your money and Bussines here

Stephanie Romero3Great customer service! Hands down to that. When it comes to location and ATM's it is the worst experience with any bank I've had. The last three days, their ONE outdoor ATM has been "temporarily unavailable" and it's inconvenient for those that have a 9-5 job.

carol ballinger3Trying to find this SSSCU location wasn’t easy...thanks to the “next to Carl’s Jr.” In the official directions, I was able to find it. Whew! Only one customer inside when I got there...the lady who was behind the bullet-proof glass seemed nice enough. Several days earlier I’d phoned to see if I could pay my mortgage w/SSSCU with a credit card (my rewards WellsFargo card would have given me $12.00 back ea. month), I was assured it was okay to do...however, it turns out: only a debit card will be accepted [perhaps the word ‘card’ caused the confusion?] the CU would accept my CREDIT card, but use it as a Cash Advance, thereby incurring a $15.00 fee from WellsFargo. When I told my story to the lady behind the glass, she had the typical customer service not-my-problem-blank-stare. When I said, “you should have a button activate flashing sign at your window that says: “S o r r y”. She seemed a bit indignant that I should be so bold as to deserve a quick “sorry about that”. At last (with the other ladies behind the glass listening) she said that all she could do is apologize for the person who gave me the wrong info.....now, really....was that SO difficult? Glad I can pay my mortgage via the website.

melinda carman1Spoke to a lady named Karen In credit services told her lost my job due to covid-19 and starting a new one on the 19th I told her I make a double payment when I got my first check from my new job she didn't care she wanted the payment. And hung up on me RUDE
