  Incredible folks to work with. Our realtor connected us with Roland during our escrow. As first time home buyers, Roland made the process streamlined and very easy for us to understand. The refinancing process with Roland was even better! We closed with a very good rate and we're now saving more on monthly payments! Highly recommended.

  My wife and I shopped around for not only the best mortgage rate but we were also looking for professional experience & responsiveness to our inquiries and we ultimately picked Roland over many others. From our very first phone inquiry call with him, we already knew that Roland is very knowledgeable in the mortgage & real estate market and very particular about details. With Roland’s help & expert advice, we were able to close on our new home in a record-breaking period of 3 weeks, a week earlier than estimated COE! That doesn’t normally happen in these times, but he made it happen. He was on top of everything from the Pre-Approval process up to the Final Loan Approval — which btw all happened in a span of 2 weeks and we closed on our home the following week. Thank you, Roland, for all your guidance and help in making our new home purchase easy and a success!

Where other brokers made us feel more anxious, Roland put us at ease in our first conversation. He thoughtfully explained the mortgage process with patience and warmth, and it was clear we would be in good hands with him.   I am rating the Sierra Capital Mortgage Company five stars for the supreme service I received through them, and the fact that I would not be in the house I am living in if it wasn’t for Roland. (Although I’m sure Linda is amazing, Roland handled my loan, and most this review is about him.) Before I ever heard of Sierra Capital, I was in the process of putting in a loan application with Bank of America. However, I quickly became frustrated because there were constant issues that would come up and the loan officer there was hard to get a hold of. Luckily, I ran into a friend who just finished the home buying process and when I told him about my frustration with Bank of America he recommended Roland. Giving Roland a call was the best decision I made throughout the home-buying process. He was always available to talk to me, always replied to my emails, and just made the whole process as easy as it could be. Naturally, being a first time homebuyer, there were plenty of bumps throughout the process (credit issues, bank issues, etc…). But, Roland was always able to walk me through whatever the issue was and advise me on how to move forward. I am a very skeptical person, and am very careful with money, but during this process Roland completely earned my trust and I knew he had my best interest in mind. Lastly, I was able to complete all the paperwork online! Roland would email me whatever documents needed to be signed, and I would print them out, scan them, and email them back to him. This saved me countless trips into Roland’s office. Also, because I had a quick escrow, I had to get documents signed and returned quickly, and this method let me get documents back to Roland almost immediately. I can’t recommend Roland enough, and I recommended him to everyone I know thinking about buying a house.

  Competitive rates. Excellent communication. Friendly + helpful. Not only was Roland knowledgeable on all of the technical aspects of securing a home mortgage, he was enthusiastic and encouraging as we embarked on our first home purchase. He was readily available 7 days a week for all of my questions and extremely patient and understanding as we had to stop and start our home search for a few months. Would definitely do business with Sierra Capital again in the future.

  Roland was absolutely fantastic. I started working with him early so that we would have a preapproval when we were ready to make an offer. There were some delays in getting a couple of sources of income verified, but Roland was very patient and helpful throughout in walking us through the required paperwork. All of it could be done very conveniently online. When our offer was accepted, Roland was able to get the loan (which was large) approved and funded in just 21 days! We highly recommend him.

  We met with Roland on the basis of a recommendation, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Since we were buying our first house and had a lot to learn about the process, Roland thoroughly explained all the options that were available to us and enabled us to make the most informed decision. Originally we thought the process might be more chaotic, but now we know, based on our experience working with Roland, that it doesn't have to be the case.
