  I've heard good and bad things about Shell Fed. I know they pick and choose who they would like to give loans too. I hate they put holds on everything! and charge for things that you get free at other places.

  I'm always welcomed when I enter this institution. I have moved all my accounts here. They also offer several informative meetings from saving money on auto loan to your mortgage.

  Very friendly staff and the employees I have encountered seem to know what they’re doing. This is the second Credit Union I have used and it’s definitely a step up from the other one. The only reason I am giving this location four stars is because late at night the ATMs are never functioning. Also, if you prefer to do the drive thru option, you have to wait quite a long time to receive help. The lines are always long. Otherwise, this location is generally great.

  Last night on Friday my debit card got eaten and SHREDDED by the atm “card retained for security reasons” i was trying to deposit money! I called today and had no idea they closed at 12:30 on a Saturday which is insane. So now I’m having to go 3 days without my debit card, I called and they just continuously said “I’m sorry for the inconvenience” yeah well now I have to switch everything over to a new card ONCE I GET IT FINALLY, can’t buy or do anything until Monday. Not to mention I’ve signed countless papers of overdraft protection and somehow they all just disappear when I go in to complain my checking account is negative for literally no reason. Save yourself the headache, they will be great at first but after 6 years of being a member I will be closing my account.

  I walked in to just open a bank acct. I walked out with a checking/savings acct. Money in my acct for opening new acct. Refinanced my car. From 20% to 3%!! Not only did Brittany save me money. She also got me a new, much bigger, credit line. Never have I ever, been treated so well and thoroughly by a financial institution. I'm so very happy. Thank you!

  There’s no way I can express my gratitude to this bank. They have helped me so much. I was so overwhelmed with my previous bank credit cards interest was 22% . Here at Shell Federal they helped me with credit transfer with low interest rate . I also refinance my car with lower interest rate and less monthly payments and receive $250 cash back free! THANK YOU! I’m very grateful and I always refer them to anyone i know. They are very professional and guide you through all their services .

  The atm deposit is always full or out of order. Considering that the bank is so hard to come by you would think that they would pay better attention to the ability of their customers being able to access their money. Especially at night when the tellers are not open. We needed to pay our rent and ended up having to pay several service and late fees due the atm not being accessible for days.

  Overall amazing service; but I have to give a super special shout out recognizing David Tijerina (Financial Service Rep) for going above & beyond my expectations of providing exceptional customer service! I have been a customer of this credit union for several years and I have never had anyone work so hard to help me get started with a car loan. He kept his promises of following up and in the end, was happy for me when he called to say I was approved! Thank you David for being so great at what you do! You are one of the main reasons why this credit union has gained a "forever customer".

  Continuously getting no assistance. As a service member being overseas I’ve gotten no assistance. What’s the point of having an email address as a way to contact you if you require someone to either call and go in? I went in to have information on my account updated while I was on leave for a week and was told my information was updated. Now I’m back overseas with the same issues I’ve had for the last 2 yrs.

  Oscar Garza loan officer one of the Best Service i have ever had in my life got personal about my life he giided me every step of the way and when shell wouldnt budge to a certain amount he fought for me this man deserves a raise
