  As far as lenders I work with they are pretty bad. Took them over a month to get the borrower numbers on her loan and did not get the numbers to the borrower until the day of closing.

  I can not say enough good things about Sharestates. Especially Mike Ramin who helped me through the private lending process like a true gentlemen. I had previously gotten taken advantage of by a different company located in Great Neck who gave me a term sheet and when I got to the closing table they re-traded my deal and tried to raise the rate and amount due for upfront fees. Thankfully I was referred to Mike at Sharestates who promised me the world and actually delivered!!! I had such a wonderful closing experience that I can and will continue to recommend Sharestates to anyone who needs good, reliable, fairly priced private financing.

  Sharestates is an honest industry leader and a class act. Most rehab lenders are charlatans up to shenanigans. Sharestates is the exact opposite of that! I have borrowed from Sharestates on numerous occasions for projects from Connecticut to Hawaii and they have always executed to the exact details issued on the their loan term sheets. They passionately share the same vision as the borrower in the quest to rehab dilapidated properties. I have been using Sharestates since the early days and now that they are a multi billion dollar lender they continually cater to my borrowing needs like it is still Day 1. Don't waste your time, sanity, and money talking to the capital markets division of a big brokerage, dealing with small time lenders, or all the other clowns online promising a quick and easy closing. They are liars! I have borrowed from many, but Sharestates is the only firm that is worth my time at this point in my rehabbing career. Call Michael Ramin and get funded!!!

  I'm obviously biased since I work here, but Sharestates has become one of my top investment strategies. I have been buying our loans since the day I started, and quickly began moving my investments to Sharestates from other platforms like Lending Club. I much prefer investing in collateralized debt, vs unsecured debt--especially since the returns are higher.

  There are a number of crowdfunding real estate sites out there, and for sure the number will increase. Sharestates is my favorite by far. Aside from having an intuitive, bug free site, Sharestates also has superior customer service and their ongoing communications are timely and informative. I’ve tried working with other top sites, and one of the top five even had a system problem which changed my profile so that I could not make an investment. Sharestates has their niche right now, but with their strong infrastructure they look to be well positioned to broaden their offerings and successfully grow.

  I started investing in sharestates after I been to one of their equity pitch session. The founder started real estate title company and naturally expanded into this business. Honesty and reliability and their local expertise are really the key factors attracted me. What impressed me more is their 0 default record built up on the large volume loan closed, as well as their excellent customer service. They made the best effort to keep improving their system and client experience, which makes them one of the most convenient and best thought crowded fund vehicle in the market place. Also lower minimum makes diversification for average investor possible. I really enjoyed the investment experience.
