      So beautiful! So many shells. The horses don't come very close but still worth it. We stop every year.

      Great guide, beautiful horses, the sand and water amazing. Found two huge shells and several decent sized ones too. Easy ferry there and back. We picked a time for return but wound up wanting to leave a bit earlier. It was not a problem to do that.

      Barbie was a great guide. Very knowledgeable. We went early and saw several horses. The beaches get more crowded the later it gets. Would recommend 👍

      Hands down one of the most amazing experiences of my life! We were there 8/23/21 I posted 15 pictures of the 200 I took! We were lucky & our friends live in NC so we were ferried out on our own private boat! The island is just beautiful in SO many ways! If you get the chance to experience this do it! Kids will love it!

      You can find shells, play in the sand, play in the water, lay on the beach, walk the dunes to see the wild horses or do nothing. This island is the wild horses' home, watch where you step, stay 50ft away from them, wear good sole shoes there are ugly burrs & cactus. Ouch No facilities on the island.

      We had a great time here tons of shells and the Island Express ferry was a fun ride and we were even able to see dolphins, the Boat captain went out of her way to make sure everyone had got to see them. We will be back!

      Beautiful but pack a backpack water food blanket and toliet paper lol you never know.
