  Simply one star is over kill for the amount of service ability i do not think this company deserves 1) they update the app (system) every time you need to pay a bill so now you need to adapt to new site 2) you have to re enter all bank accounts linked with acct. Because the update wiped them out... 3)customer service just hung up on me.... not excited.. Would you like me to keep going?

  My overall experience with this bank won't allow me to rate it any higher. The two stars they do get are literally for the GM they recently fired Danielle, and Jacinta, that is the current GM. Everyone else at this branch and the credit union as a whole is completely, blissfully inept, and quick to catch an attitude after the 5th time they've screwed up managing your money if you point that out to them. Closing all 3 accounts I've maintained with this bank over the past 3 years because that was ample time to allow them to get their act together, and they're still coming up way short. 7 times this year my cards for all accounts have been blocked without explanation nor apologies, just embarrassment and inconvenience on my part.

  ***UPDATE*** After posting my original post I got a call from Hayley at ServiceCredit Union. She apologized for how my conversation went with memeber services as it was not handled how it should have been. She was super compassionate and understanding and gave me important info on their change with ATM fees and gave me a website where I can locate ATMs near me that are affiliated with SCU and would not come with a fee charge. I feel so much better as I did not want to have to cancel my account and it felt good to feel valued as a customer. Thank you Hayley! I have changed my original 1 star rating to a 5 star rating and appreciate that someone reached out to me about my experience. It really shows that’s SCU cares. *ORIGINAL POST* I have had my bank account at service credit union for years. One of the main reasons I signed up for an account here was because I was told that there were no ATM fees so I thought awesome! There aren’t that many service credit unions in my area so their ATMs were not easily accessible but I thought with the no ATM fees I was golden. I have not been charged an ATM fee the entire time I have been a member up until last month. I thought it was a fluke as I had never seen it before and then it happened again last night. After calling member services today they told me that they have always had ATM fees their system had just been down for a while that’s why I had not gotten them in the past. I asked if it had been down for years (as I’ve been a member for years and was told differently at sign up). I was told they were not sure how long it was down for. I really thought that service credit union was different than other banks but today I was proved I was wrong. I will be closing my account today which I told the representative on the phone who didn’t seem to care what so ever that they were losing a loyal customer of many years. Over the years I’ve also recommended many people who have opened accounts here because I was so happy with how honest and customer orientated service credit union was. Very very disappointed. Thete were some things in the past that happened to my account that I overlooked because I loved the service too - like cancelling my debit card because their systems were hacked and only sending me an email instead of calling me to let me know so that when I was in the middle of buying groceries and my card was declined I ended up having to go without my groceries and any of my money until the next day because I do not always check my email on a regular basis. And another time having a fraudulent charge from a state that is more than ten hours away from me that took all of my money account (don’t you think that would send out an alert or something) and then I had to spend the next two hours on the phone trying to get my money back which didn’t get back into my account until five days later. Just very disappointed that’s all and thought I’d share my experience. This post does not have to do with this particular branch but I could not find a spot to post a review for members services.

  So I had an issue that I tried to handle at the Hudson location as it was closer to my work. The woman at the Hudson Walmart was rude and condescending so I closed my account. Fast forward to two days ago I stopped in to speak with Hunter at the Manchester branch about my issue and why I closed my account he was super knowledgeable about everything told me what to do if that happened in the future and not only did I reopen my account but he got me a better account setup than my last account (I had the old account for 7 years and my banking needs have changed). Thank you Hunter! I think the Hudson branch could learn a thing or two from you!

  Stephanie is the best! Very very helpful and goes above and beyond. Last time I was there a young black woman who I wish I remembered her name was extremely rude and condescending and did not care about my issues or concerns at all. The next time I went I was lucky enough to get Stephanie who is the best she fixed everything for me quickly and politely and treated my problem like it was her own. Can't say enough good things about her!

  Everyone here is super friendly. I just wish they had a few parking spaces designated for banking customers only like the branch in Concord Walmart does. Regardless, I love this bank and this is my favorite branch.

  I went in there today and the lady gave me an attitude over my recently expired license when I tried to deposit my money by mockingly repeating my question when I asked if I needed my license. When all she could've said was yes and not have acted the way she did. I did not catch her name, but I went in there around 11:30 am Dec 31st

  If your looking for the best customer service. I recommend you go to Stephanie never met a person that goes above and beyond for customers thanks again Stephanie she deserves a raise for sure.
