shevah “Ms Royal” morris3I called first to ask if I could come in, the person on the phone sounded annoyed and very abrupt. Went inside to find out about credit unions and how they work. Never used them before.. Immediately I could tell who answered the phone. The same tone n attitude was given. Sorry if I'm not Ukrainian and just a black woman with checks with a few Ks that I wanted to put into a new kind of financial institution. The other young lady came from behind and seem a little more patient and kinder with answering my questions and concerns. I guess she detected her coworkers energy. However I felt rushed n told to go online. Sometimes we DONT want to go online sometimes we just want that person to person experience. I'll visit other credit unions before I opened an account

You're right about credit unions, the business model is based on service and, unlike banks, not on profits. Our member service rep's suggestion to use online services is also a good idea, since checks can be (depending on the amount) deposited via our mobile app from your smartphone, so its less risky than having to come in with checks. Practically all our our services, including new account enrollment, credit card applications, balance transfers, etc, can be accessed remotely via desktop, smartphone or tablet.
