  I originally had a negative review and I wasn't looking forward to having to go into the bank to fix a problem I had but this time I went in and the problem was fixed quickly and JEANETTE ANDRADE was amazing to me. She was friendly and restored my faith in this bank completely.

  Very nice Credit union. They have a product that helps you start your credit or help you boost credit. Called fresh start. Also CD rates are the highest in the Central valley.

  Self-Help is not very known Credit Union that has a lot to offer. My experience when I opened an account was great. And since then I chose them as my favorite bank/Credit Union because they explained to me with details how to build my credit and they have helped me for every bank needs. I would definitely recommend to bank with them, you won't be disappointed at all.

  Awesome bank. Great customer service from everybody that works there. This bank is very efficient and for the people. The Fresh Start program is awesome way for person to start/ help build their credit. The only problem is there's only have one branch in town, hopefully they'll have another one sometime in the future.

  This is a great place to bank! There's great interest rates here with almost no fees, Credit Unions are way better for the local community, and this place really cares about people more than profits. They have so many programs that provide opportunities for people that most banks ignore, which makes me proud to bank here. Plus, their Money Market account is so accessible and provides an amazing interest rate for your savings. Can't beat it! Would absolutely recommend for everyone to bank here.

  So disappointed. I opened a checking, savings and self credit rebuild account. I opened the account on the 5/23 and was told they would send my debut card 7-10 business days. I never received it. My wife opened an account as well and received hers 5 days later. I called their call center and by far the worst service ever. The last rep I spoke to on 6/7 said they sent the card out on 5/23 same day by now it’s been 14 days. Stated that if I didn’t receive it she would notate the account for a courtesy expedited shipping. I called again today karina Garcia in the management dept stated that I needed to wait another 7-10 business days. I explained that the rep on Friday said she would do expedited shipping and the manager stated it would be another 7-10. After an hour and her pulling up the call and listening to it she finally honored what the rep said she would on Friday. I regret getting an account here

  The employees are very pleasant and professional, the only downside is that the ATM never works. I always have to withdraw or make deposits after normal business hours and have been unable to take care of business for the reason of their ATM is always out of service.

  My mother had a horrible experience at this location she recently got a loan for her vehicle when she went to open up an account for the payments and the man helping her was questioning how she was able to get approved and giving her degrading remarks his job was to help her open the account and he did not even explain to her the account correctly she had to ask the basic questions like the bank fees etc. Will be filing a formal complaint as well this is very frustrating as a new customer this should not happen.

  Unless I am Nieve or was misled this credit union is a Godsend to the hard working people who are struggling financially to get by and better their living conditions.
