  Mike Neft and his staff were very professional and personal. We met with Mike to review our existing investments.   I was introduced to Secure Retirement Strategies (SRS) and at an informational dinner meeting hosted by them where I learned of several retirement and tax burden minimization strategies. I had a follow-up meeting with (SRS) to ask about social security strategy and learn more about a life insurance instrument called a LIRP (Life Insurance in Retirement Plan). Although I attended several other similar retirement strategy seminars in the past, this was the first time I heard of a LIRP. It's an Index based Universal Life insurance policy which offers a tax free Long-Term Care benefit (if needed) based on the death benefit amount, but it also has a cash value and retirement income features. After the introductory meeting, I had several meetings with Marc Smith and Lou Aarons to discuss the LIRP as part of my retirement portfolio strategy. Since our first meeting I felt at ease, never pressured, had all my questions answered and advised as to my options for what I wanted to achieve. These people are professionals with a personal touch, they make you feel as part of a family, and they advise you in a fiduciary manner. They are open, transparent, knowledgeable, and very experienced in dealing with wealth management instruments to achieve your personal goals. They are not only brokers but also clients for the instruments that they offer. They have a well-rounded professional staff to address pretty much all aspects of retirement planning and wealth management. Highly recommended!

  I was in charge of my Mother's care and finances after my Father passed in 2014 and saw first hand the devastating financial impact of assisted care and nursing home living. At $4,000 a month for assisted care and then $13,000 a month for nursing home care my parents life long savings were being quickly eroded. Medicare does not cover these expenses and the only governmental relief is Medicaid which goes into effect AFTER qualifying and ONLY after you spend almost all of your assets and savings. My Mother passed but she left behind the lesson learned---to make sure long term care is part of your retirement planning. When retiring in 2018, securing long term care was a priority. By some stroke of luck an invitation for dinner and a discussion by Secure Retirement Strategies showed up in the mail and an offered an investment called an LIRP which not only provides a great return that doesn't go below zero but also long term care and life insurance. The dinner was at Blue and tasted fantastic but as an added bonus the presentation by Lou and Mike was the cherry on top. To cut to the chase, we have been with Secure Retirement Securities for 1 1/2 years. We purchased the LIRP with the long term care and an indexed annuity and we are very pleased with not only the investments but also the care and attention that Lou and Marc provided to explain each and every detail. At our annual meeting we expressed our desire to protect some of our other assets and still get a good return and they responded with two investments that we purchased that fit perfectly into our financial plan. Their knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail are exceptional but best of all they are all great guys!
