HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!!!! If I could give zero stars, then I would. This bank put into motion a new set up with their online banking website and then it let everyone's debit cards read "DECLINE" over the weekend when trying to make purchases. HOW DARE YOU!!! I will now be looking for a new bank/credit union. Here's a thought Florida, why don't you have more National banks in this state and all over this state like other states do? Here's what happens when you don't have National banks. I've never experienced so many problems before moving to Florida. This bank owes all the members who were embarrassed with a decline message from Friday, Feb. 4-6 while trying to use their debit cards.

      Response from the owner

Pauline, we're sorry to hear about the challenges you experienced. On Friday, Feb 4th there was a widespread issue impacting debit cards at many financial institutions, including Seacoast Bank. This was an independent issue not related to the online banking upgrade. We received confirmation that the issue was resolved Friday afternoon. If you continued to experience challenges using your debit card, please contact the branch directly for further assistance.

I opened a business account with Legacy Bank because it was a small, local bank. It was acquired by Seacoast Bank in August. Without exaggeration, not one single transaction has been completed without issue. It has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with any business I’ve ever dealt with. I can’t wait to pull my money out tomorrow to switch banks. HORRIBLE BANK!!

      Response from the owner

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We are sorry to hear that you did not have the positive experience we strive to create for our customers. We have shared your feedback with our management team.

I bank here because they're local and usually responsive. They seem to be experiencing some growing pains of late, but they are very friendly and helpful once you get their attention. They've addressed my concerns, and my review will increase to 5 stars if they stay that way.

      Response from the owner

Mike we appreciate your review and thank you for taking the time to share. Your review will be shared with management of the Colorado branch. Thank you for being part of Seacoast.

Thanks for making your on line banking site more difficult to traverse through then the previous one. And thanks for adding a $10.00 a month service fee to accounts under $1000.00. Lets see if you can hurt seniors and people that aren't well off financially as others a bit more. maybe make it a $20.00 fee. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!Still waiting for my calendar

      Response from the owner

Donald, sorry you are having difficulty navigating the new online banking platform as well as concerns about your account. We’d be more than happy to assist you with both. You can visit any branch during their normal hours or make an appointment to meet with a branch associate at your convenience. https://www.seacoastbank.com/locations/all

Don't waste your time. I opened an online banking account. The system would only let you fund it with 500.00 via a debit card from another bank. Their website states, "If you use your existing debit card or a direct transfer to fund your new bank account, you'll get the funds faster. It's no fun to wait while your money remains tied up in banking limbo. An unexpected expense or emergency could crop up, in which case you'll want to be able to use your money IMMEDIATELY." Good to know that Seven (7) days is the new immediate. I'm sure they will come up with some mumbo jumbo about the "existing card" being another Seacoast card, but that's not what it says. The money was taken from my other account immediately, but they are holding, basically cash, for seven days. I called to close the account and they told me I either have to go into a branch or wait the seven days to do it via phone. I knew better than to try and deal with Seacoast. The only reason I tried them was that I wanted an account at another bank, separate from my main bank, to use for online transactions, as I don't want my main banking info out there on the web. I guess I'm still looking....Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere. Update: I tried to log in to the account. I get a message that my login is inactive. Called. A customer service rep comes back with seacoast declined the account. 😂😂😂. I asked if that was because I told them I was closing it right away, and she said she couldn't give me that info, I had to wait for a letter. I asked when will I get my money back, she said about two (2) weeks. 😂 Yes, two weeks to get your own money back.

      Response from the owner

Thank you for taking the time to share feedback about your experience. We’re sorry to hear that it didn’t meet your expectation and needs. All new account openings go through a review process to ensure completion and accuracy of required documentation. While the use of a debit card may lead to faster availability of fund, the review process must be completed prior to the use of the funds. Depending upon the institutions involved in the transfer of funds it could take a couple of days for the authorization to be complete, at which time we will be able to return your funds and close the account.

Omgoodness... I stopped in to get something notarized(I wasn't a customer) and everyone was so nice. Amy was super helpful... professional, kind, and efficient!! If you're looking for a new bank, this one definitely has that home bank feeling... I bet they know all their customers!❤🥰❤ THANKS AMY... and everyone else working, on 12/721.

Called to verify a Cashier's check to expedite shipping. This is the first bank that absolutely refuses to verify a Cashier's check which will result in their customer waiting an extended time for shipping. Terrible customer service. The money has already left the customer's account.

We've been with Seacoast for 10 years. I love this bank. BUT if there is a problem I have to talk to someone from the bank where I opened my account. My bank is now 2 hours from where I live. I speak to a representative and they leave an email which no one responds to. I recently had an issue where my husband accidentally made a payment to his Capital One account. He realized it in a Saturday. I deposited a check on Monday. I was hit with a $35 overdraft fee. Okay fine. But I was also hit with a $34.65 deposit fee that no one can explain to me. Apparently the only way to get an answer is to drive 2 hours to Stuart. I don't understand why it is so hard to talk to someone. And why can't I walk into any Seacoast to get service. I would like to add something. I received a letter in the mail today (friday) explaining everything. I put the check in on Monday and have been looking for answers since. The reps are nice enough but can't help when you have to talk to and actual banker. Bank personnel that are always too busy to answer the phone or emails.

      Response from the owner

Lu Ellen, thank you for reaching out to provide your feedback. We apologize for the inconvenience in reaching your local Banker. We will be sure to share your concern and address with the appropriate areas.

Dana who handled our business mortgage has been outstanding. She answers all my questions, Is very attentive and responds to me quickly whenever I need her. She opened my new accounts personal and business and did all the leg work so all I had to do was sign some papers, and she cane to my office to do it. Love the neighborhood bank feeling that I actually matter to them. I’ve been missing that since my previous bank was bought by a bigger bank.

After years of an excellent payment history with Seacoast bank on a Corporate line of credit, Seacoast bank is with only a day or Two advance notice at all is demanding in full payment of $ 39,000, or threatening legal action. The latest is that they billed me an Annual Fee of $ 150 on August 6th, which I paid. Mr. Gary Albert of Seacoast Bank now billed me the same annual fee again, this time at $ 300. Horrible!!! They can legally demand payment of a full line of credit, but after Three years of paying everything, I expected some courtesy of advance notice and some willingness to negotiate a payment which I can handle. They demanded that I triple the payments I had made for most of the Three years. When I said I needed a lower payment, they went straight to legal action. In a new e-mail Gary of Seacoast Bank is trying to tell me that they are going to go backwards to charge me $ 150 for 2018 - what poor service!!! Go back and charge fees for One and One Half Years ago! Who does that!!!
