I will highly recommend this to everyone. I went to SDCCU to finance my car. Ms. Feng took care of me very well. She made the whole process look so smooth, I couldn’t have been any happier.

Cynthia L. from the SDCCU regent roads location made getting a car loan easy and stress free. She walked me through the process step by step and even adjusted my loan amount to cover the whole cost of the vehicle without a down payment. I recommend everyone go their auto insurance with SDCCU they are extremely professional, FAST, and the staff is so helpful. She always responds to my messages ASAP and even has been emailing me information regarding my auto loan before the bank is open. Cynthia has been so good to me and is amazing at her job. I will highly recommend this branch for auto loans, home loans, etc to my friends.

My wife and I were in the process of purchasing our new house and I stopped by one afternoon to wire money to escrow. I was "assisted by" Jessica, the branch manager. I provided a form from escrow detailing all of the necessary info, account numbers, etc. Once it was ready, I reviewed the printed wire form... Everything seemed to be correct so I approved. Fast forward to this morning, our closing date: Escrow calls to inform us that there was an issue with the transfer and we'd need to scramble to get the funding done today. Jessica had failed to put the destination account number into the wire and the funds never sent! How does the "branch manager" fail to put in one of the most crucial components of a wire transfer? How does that even work? Seems like Bank Teller 101 to me - complete all of the required fields prior to sending a high dollar transfer! When I rushed into the branch to fix this mess, I saw Jessica. She had no answers, no apologies, only lame excuses. I'd suggest Jessica spend some more time in remedial banking and customer service training before she's allowed to attempt another wire. If you have to do business with SDCCU in UTC, I'd advise you to go elsewhere and avoid this branch of incompetence.

They didn't contact me like they should have after I submitted the application for the account. I got misinformation about funding my account. My check to fund the account has been on hold for longer than they told me it would be when I deposited it in person. It's a check I wrote to myself. I can see the money was taken out of my other account 5 business days ago. There is a fee and daily and monthly maximums to wire transfer funds out of my account. I tried a SDCCU ATM once and it wouldn't give me money although I verified I had more than the request in my account. It did give me receipts even though I selected no receipts. There is nowhere to dispose of the receipts at the ATM. There is not a bike rack at the Regents branch so I have to walk my bike inside the branch with me. This bank needs to 1) give correct information, 2) install bike racks and trash cans. 3) fix their ATM so it gives money and no receipt instead of the other way around.

SDCCU is the most inconvenient bank ever from their online banking, which is rather archaic, to just the ATM machines. Especially the one here across from Vons. I don’t like dealing with tellers, so I just use the drive thru, and that machine is ALWAYS down for some reason. They also like to block your ATM card if you make a few high priced item purchases. They blocked my ATM thinking it was fraud and I ended up not being able to use by card the whole entire weekend because it was on a holiday weekend. Another time, I was in Europe and they blocked my card thinking it was fraud. They recently blocked my card again for the same reason, so I finally opened a Chase and a Wells Fargo acct. Wells Fargo has the best online banking and app was sooo much easier and up to date.

you need to be careful with this credit union they do a lot of fraud fraud someone was using my card and I ( it probably was one of their own because whenI opened the account he saw my PIN number ). I complain about it to reverse some of the charges but later in two months later I had plenty of money in my account I was to say for sample I had $500 on the weekend I spent $200 in small amounts 10, 15 etc Early morning on Monday I checked my account and I was -$300 instead of +300 bucks I checked my account and I found out that for each time I used my card they charge me overdraft fees why ? I have money it’s been there for a while it’s cash I complain to the manager and she said everything is OK no it’s not I called my attorney and they reversed the charges but then the fraud charges that were already clear for 90 days they reversed it without any reason I called some of those places and they said the bank reversed the charges and got the money so the bank took their money took my money and still overdrawn overdrawn fraud fraud fraud

I want to say "thanks" to Allison and her staff for assisting me over the past couple of months with fraudulent charges on my bank cards. Allison's professionalism and leadership as well as the professionalism exhibited by her staff helped untangle and solve a difficult situation. Cudos!

SDCCU is my favorite bank and this is the closest to my home. Staff here is friendly, helping and courteous. They never let you wait and are always happy to help.

Great service, and great convenient location. Although I might add, that their drive-up ATM machine does have several issues; ie being really slow multiple times, freezing/glitching screen.
