  It’s a rare thing to discover a bank that genuinely cares about the people it serves and SDCCU is that kind of bank. They’ve always shown me kindness, respect, and a friendly smile.   Unfortunately customer service can be hit or miss. I usually don’t look forward to having to see a teller. Never know if they’re going to be in a good mood or not. I wish all their ATMs had an option to choose the denominations when you withdraw. I think the only pleasant thing about coming here is the female security used they have. She’s really nice.

  An associate at this branch helped me get into a loan to boost my credit score! They were patient enough to explain several times how the loan would work and even set up an automatic payment for me! The customer service at this office can be hit and miss. I will still give a strong five star rating because SDCCU is the best credit union!

  This credit union touts itself as better than the big banks when in actual fact they are far worse. They charge fees for absolutely every service, their support team only works business hours, they offer no over draft facility. I was $10 short on the day my car payment went through so they declined it and charged me $27 !!!! It was just a question of one too many things coming out at the same time right before pay day and they charged me double what I was short and actually pulled it out that day so then I was $37 short! Also transactions take days to go through on my account. When I pay off my credit cards my credit card says payment confirmed but it doesn't actually deduct out of my account for almost a week which leads to situations like the above when I think everything has cleared but it hasn't. Worst bank ever.

  Really don’t understand the point of banking here. I opened an account at the North Park Branch. I tried to get access to my accounts by either thru the phone app or their website. I was extremely disappointed in both, to say the least. The website reminds me of Windows 95, Really! I kept getting error messages that my computer was blocking their cookies, every time I logged in. Try transferring funds to an outside financial institution, it’s a joke. The phone app is terrible. They need to hire away someone from BofA or Chase Bank with some urgency to assist them to upgrade their online systems so their customers can experience a 2019 website with upgraded phone apps for Apple and Android as well! ***READ THIS*** I closed my account based on this experience only. When I went to close the account, I was assisted by the representative “Jasper”. He is fabulous and should be promoted at some point, he completely understood the issue. I will not be back.

  Most of the time the ATM is out of service; and it is very hard to do banking with them, I better close my account due to lack of service, you can't do transactions easily on their site. Poor customer service.. Sorry switching bank ASAP.

  The ATM in front of sprouts took my cash I was depositing and then said it was temporarily out of service. I had to wait until Monday to talk to anyone at Sdccu and then another 7-10 days to get the money the atm stole back. What a disappointing system that they take this long to get money to me that should have been deposited immediately in the first place but due to an error of THEIR MACHINE it was not. SDCCU doesn’t give you 7-10 days leeway when something is due but it’s okay for them to make you wait that long to have something returned to you. What BS. Terrible atm, terrible bank terrible policy. Get a clue.

  The customer service from this branch is the worst. They do not call you back after leaving multiple voicemails. They provide false loan information in office and then you get the letters in the mail about the actual loan application dates. Go to another branch for better service. If sdccu wants the names of their associates I am happy to provide them. Something does need to be done. Your bank hold my funds as well as thousands of others. We pay for great customer service, so provide it

  I was advised to get a credit card through them knowing that my credit is far from great well the guy I have my app to told me and I quote "you have great credit you don't really need this credit card". Wow I thought, that's very cool then proceeded to apply for other in store credit cards. To my embarrassment I was turned down flat..WTF SDCCU????

  Everyone at the North Park, SDCCU Branch is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They always seem to go out of their way, to make sure that your every need is taken care of and that you leave their branch with a positive attitude.
