  After our landlord gave us notice in early January that we had 60 days to relocate because he was selling the property (we were on a month to month lease), we contacted Doug at Sandy Springs Bank after reading excellent reviews and his experience with USDA Loans, the type of property we were looking for. After our realtor Christy Bailey (recommended by Doug) showed us over 30 homes in 30 days, we landed on the perfect home and yard (3 dogs). Doug and his team worked tirelessly to get us closed in 29 days from when we went to contract. We literally closed one day before we had to be out of our house then moved the very next day into our first home!! Doug works hard, is patient with questions, informative, experienced, and makes himself available outside regular hours. From our first conversation (paraphrased), "I know my clients aren't always available to talk during business hours so I try to make myself available in the evenings and weekends." W had a hiccup with the USDA Loan last minute but he and his team were able to get us in with a FHA Loan and close on time. Unbelievable service.

  I've banked with Sandy Spring before and always had a good experience. This time I got the pleasure of working with Rick Humbert on a refinance and he was fantastic in all aspects of the process.
