  The worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. My Interest rate is at 12% and they refuse to work anything out with me. They DON’T help. They scam and prey on their customers. I wish I never took a loan out with them.

  This is by far the absolute worst company to deal with. The employees are incredibly rude and disrespectful, especially whoever “Jasmine” is. I regret ever allowing my daughter to ever put herself in this situation. I’ve never been so disrespected and humiliated. Every damn time I call to attempt to speak with someone it’s a damn runaround and smart attitudes with threats. Who do you people think you are? Stay away people. Just stay away.

  They called me 9 times in one day, i finally answer, its an automated system telling me to call them, i call back and I had to wait for 15 minutes, and come to realize it was because they made a mistake. If you are in college, use any loan company besides this.

  I cosigned loans for my mom, and Sallie Mae continues to lie to us at every occasion and rip us off. Have single-handedly ruined my relationship with my mother and torn our family apart. Thank you Sallie Mae.

  Horrible company with horrible customer service. They threaten you and harass you. They also refuse to work with people that are having a hard time paying their loans back. Don't EVER get a loan from this company. Hopefully the government will shut them down.

  Terrible. IF YOU CAN, CHOOSE ANOTHER COMPANY TO GET A LOAN. PLEASE. If not, keep record of every conversation you have. Seriously. I regret getting a loan with them. I'm back in school, but they still want money because my class starts late.. I do not have enough money for grad school, so how the hell will I pay them. My other loans were understanding and very responsive. These people will not help you. They are more like loan sharks, because regardless of your financial situation, regardless of your attempt to make payments, they do not care. Its quite sad. I was even lied to about being helped. Only lies. one lady had an attitude with me, so I hung up. I also hung up on another person. If I stayed on the line, I would have said some harsh words. Why? Because of the BS they were telling me. I was about to cry. Seriously, worst company I have ever dealt with. I'm pretty screwed and my credit will be going down the drain. Even my parents credit may be affected since they cosigned. Never ever again... To others dealing with this, I'm sorry and completely understand. We should bot have to deal with the BS. No, not at all..

  I always get such terrible customer service every time I need to call in. There have been few experiences with Sallie Mae where I've found something productive happened. I wish I knew of any other options for student loans before throwing my entire life's earning into this company...

  Really wish my parents had a better idea about this kind of stuff 5 years ago when I was looking for loans. Paying about 1500 a month without a full time job and they refuse to lower payments. Government needs to step in and stop these scumbags.

  Not flexible, not considerate, if you have to resort to using this company, consider not even going to college. Go to trade school and skip the debt and make just as much money as most college grads if not more.

  Such a terrible company. I have had the worst experiences while working with them. Every time I call I get transferred multiple times and have to answer the same questions just to be transferred again. Terrible customer service, I cannot wait to pay my loans off so I never have to work with them ever again.
