Melinda DeHerrera Rogers5I am changing my rating and praising the SAFE CU staff for the recovery of most of the money we lost through wire fraud. We had all but given up hope in getting any money back. I am truly amazed the lengths the staff went through to retrieve the money for us. I have to say that SAFE CU did have our back and I thank them for not giving up. I would also like to warn anyone out there who is not familiar with wiring money, BE CAREFUL. Wire fraud is huge and if you're unfamiliar (as I was) with the process, ask as many questions as you can think of. We felt helpless and hopeless after this occurred but our faith, in SAFE CU, has be restored. THANK YOU Fraud Staff!! Old post: I would give no stars if I could. This bank does not care about its customers. It does not explain processes they use to provide services. They do not take accountability for their lack of communication to the customer. They do not have the customer's back in situations that could have been averted with communication and explanation. My situation was not unique I'm sure and I didn't know which questions to ask and was not guided through a process that should not have occurred. I asked for a service that, in this time of fraud, should have triggered specific questions by the bank attendant. Instead I just sat and watched the bank attendant make a transaction that ultimately is not reversible and lost a lot of money. Never was it explained to me that the transaction was not reversible and not once did the bank attendant ask me questions regarding the transaction I requested.

lupe espinoza1The online app has had an update scheduled for a weekend. April 8-April 12 . It. Is now april22. I have had now access to my account. I have been calling to there help line . I have been put on hold over an hour and have been going in circles. I admit I’m not very computer savvy but isn’t this why there is a help line. I not happy and Iv been a customer over ten years. So I’m asking for help with on line app. Or just like everyone else has been doing , I’ll have to look for better service

Young savant5manager said she will try her best though to help me reverse my hard credit check that was ran even though I didn’t sign up for a credit card, account, or loan. Just possible account opening was all. Update - Got it reversed. Glad.

Marie Gouthier2Ok to do regular banking, but not to do international transfer. Going to have to go to another bank and close account after being with then 10 years.
