  The hours are the most inconvenient I'm at work before they open and just getting home when they close.Your should be open for my convenience not yours!Less foot traffic on Saturday down size your staff but to be closed on Saturday ridiculous.

  I'm surprised at how many positive reviews there are. Ive been dealing with them for 2 years now and I find the customer service to be greatly lacking. Whether it's on the phone or in person, I consistently find the staff to go out of their way to be difficult, even argumentative. Today I asked them to check my records to be sure I hadn't deposited a check that I never got from my insurance company. I didn't trust myself to navigate online because this is important. I was given much attitude about it, and the final straw was when they told me I'd have to pay 20$/hr for them to look through my records. This would have probably taken the woman the same amount of time to pull up and look through as it did to snidely suggest I pay 20/hour for the bank to do their job! I navigated the website, took some time for me to figure out where to find the information. When I found the right section it was a list of maybe 20 checks deposited, I'm certain they could have easily and quickly performed this without needing more than what I already pay them. I look forward to changing credit unions.

  My most recent Association started about 1997, when I returned to Maine. Since then, I have only had an exemplary relationship with the credit union and it's staff. I consider them to be great friends. They are my primary financial institution contacts. They represent all that is good about our member-owned financial institution. Thank you.

  What kind of bank won’t allow you to cash an income check without an account with them? Total scam. They should just have cashed my check for a fee and had me set up an account. Instead they rudely refused to cash my check, and told me I would need to call to make an appointment to set up an account when there were 4 bankers sitting there doing nothing. Terrible, awful customer service. Only in there a few minutes but I was not impressed.

  Hi Dustin, I am sorry that you feel your experience with us was not a pleasant one. At this time in an abundance of caution we are doing all non-teller work by appointment only. The management team did sit down and go over this policy since then and has made a few changes that will better serve our members! Going forward, we will now be scheduling appointments when possible while the member is present. In the instance that all New Account Representatives are currently unavailable, we will take your name and number and have someone call you to set up an appointment. This will hopefully help to accommodate new members and their busy lives as well. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your feedback!

  Amazes me at some of these 1 star ratings and their reasoning. "I showed up 30 mins before they close to open an account and was told it was too late in the day. They need to specify this on their hours of operation" Really? You're probably the same person who shows up to a restaurant 20 mins before they close and demand to be seated and get a meal. C'mon now. A little common sense maybe?? Another low rating due to the customer service rep on the phone not being able to be your personal accountant?! Are you people out of your minds?? Why is this a low rating towards the bank?? You're tying up their phone line and an employee because you need them to go on a hunting trip to locate some check or whatever, that you misplaced or cannot locate. What am I missing here? I've been with this CU since 1983. I'm 37 years old. I've never had an issue with them, ever. I've had several car loans over the years, they're always super polite, friendly, and always willing to help. It's a small town CU, with actual humans who work there and help. Don't like that? Go deal with the corporate bank down the street and pay them $15 a month to have a "free" checking account.

  I have been a member for almost 30 years. That alone says a lot. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. They have early drive-thru hours which is helpful. They have a nice lobby area with coffee and they do a lot of fund raisers. My name doesn't seem to show up when I go back and look at the reviews. Maybe it's just something I am not seeing on my end?   I've been banking with SRCU since I was a child. Loan processes are very easy, and the member service department goes above and beyond to help their members be satisfied with their experience. I couldnt imagine a better financial institution to grow with!

  Staff is always pleasant and helpful. I do many banking services through Sabattus Regional Credit Union and they are wonderful.
