  Although Clark Sexton and the Ruoff Mortgage Team came highly recommended, what I hoped would be a seamless experience, was far from it. My original closing date was missed. The very next day after I should have closed, I received emails asking me to provide documentation that I provided 2 weeks previously. I was also asked to provide documentation of my earnest money deposit, which I provided two months prior. The blame for the delay was transferred to the HOA revisions. However, me purchasing a condo should not have been a recent discovery to Clark and his team. As such, the HOA documentation could have been obtained earlier in the process. These delays put me in default of my purchase agreement. Fortunately, there was alignment between myself, my realtor and the builder that Clark and his team were the cause of the default in my purchase agreement. Because of these delays, the final appraisal was also ordered at the last minute and scheduled to occur after the new closing date/time had already been scheduled. Fortunately for my realtor, he made magic happen and the final appraisal was rescheduled to happen before the new closing date/time, so I was able to close on time. Weeks of delay and I'm still not in my new condo because I had to reschedule a long-distance move, which I incurred additional costs for.

  We were bought our condo during the COVID shutdown which was a great test and for Ruoff came through with flying colors. Clark was very professional and worked hard to get us the best rate. The updates and video vignettes via text made the process fun and less stressful. Also, the website was efficient at guiding you through the process and easily allow you to upload the necessary documents.

  From beginning to end it was great! Rates were extremely competitive. Clark along with his processor Amanda were awesome about communicating with me throughout the process. I also received emails with updates etc. I liked that what I was promised at the beginning is what I received at the end. Clark always called me with any updates and options with how to proceed. Great experience I would recommend Clark and his team!

  Just finished my 3rd closing with Clark in 4 years. 3 kinda of loans. Purchase/Refi with cash out and Refi due to low interest rates. The ease of communication and the communication through the whole process is what sets Clark/Ruoff apart. Integrity is super important to me and you get that with Clark. Simple process from start to finish. Highly recommend.

  Ruoff Delivers! I was in a difficult spot and Ruoff Mortgage delivered on every count. I took an extended time between starting my new job and leaving my old job to have adequate time for relocation from NC to MI. Other lenders balked because it didn't fit into their usual time frame. Clark Sexton and his team laid out a plan, told me exactly what to expect, and delivered on everything they said. Based on my experience, they are trustworthy.
