  Selected Royal United Mortgage after carefully checking them out via BBB and other sites of credibility, along with comparison to other just as credible mortgage loan companies. My experience was over-all excellent, just with a couple bumps along the way. Biggest concern was the need for consistency and accuracy. At start was told with a high level of confidence what interest rate I qualified for, as we got closer to finalizing the details, slight changes in rate was noticed. I had two NFCU accounts planned to get paid off in this mortgage loan. The error was that the balance of the higher was listed twice in the paperwork to get paid off. They were close in balance, but NOT the same. It appears that this error may had caused the interest rate variation(?). In process, my account manger left on vacation. I was handed over to another account specialist. This was done very well and was very comfortable in it's process. All parties stayed on top and maintained a very professional level of work. (GREAT JOB TEAM!) In closing, a little sloppy paperwork was noted. The two rates were listed throughout the documents, but was still pleased with the actual rate. The incorrect listing of my NFCU accounts were still listed in the closing documents, but did not impact actual closing nor the pay-off planning. Special note; everything happened on time and as they projected. As long as I stayed on top of what I had to do, they hit every benchmark date they stated. My money hit the bank as planned. Checks for account payoffs as described. I even got a month of no out of pocket payments towards the bills I am paying off because of this pay-off payment. I start my first monthly payment on this mortgage loan one month out. My biggest concern was just the sloppy paperwork trail. I address this only because it is important to take note by Royal United to make sure they get it right, and for clients to be sure to proof read and review everything. In my case it was all ok and did NOT negatively impact me. But it could. My Rep, Josh was amazing and very helpful. I HIGHLY recommend Royal United Mortgage.

  Our loan adviser, Manny Morales, was great and worked hard to make the refinancing of our home loan a great experience. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our many questions. He was always very friendly, courteous and professional. He is a definite asset to Royal United Mortgage!!

  Richard Salazar helped me through refinancing my home. He is very professional and very responsive in all of his emails, calls and texts. When I had a question during closing paperwork, I called him and he immediately picked up to explain one paperwork that I was unclear on. There was no pressure to close or rush the process. He understood that I had multiple offers and was patient in allowing me to make my decisions. Thank you Richard, I would definitely recommend you to my friends and family for future business.

  Working with Valerie DeWolf and Royal United was the best customer service I could have ever expected. After a frazzled search for a cash back refinance I was lucky enough to come across Valerie DeWolf who put my mind totally at ease. Val worked every step with me explaining everything I needed to know along the way. Valerie was knowledgeable, professional, and above all kind and patient.   I did a refinance with Kathleen McManus at Royal United. It could not have gone better or easier. Kat is "the Bomb". She's smart and funny and KNOWS HERE STUFF !!! She kept me posted every step of the way and I never felt that I was dealing with anybody but a friend. I'm going to miss talking with her on a regular basis. I can't say that about anybody I've ever dealt with in the money business. If you are looking to refi or buy you could not possibly deal with anyone as good as Kathleen McManus.
