  After being a member for the last probably 10 years, they just started charging an additional $3.00 ATM fee on top of the actual ATM fee. I just paid $5.50 in fees to withdrawal cash. While other banking institutions are waiving ATM fees all together. Over the years I have found that the savings/checking benefits can be beat by many other institutions.

  Hi Kaitlyn, Thank you for your review. I can definitely understand your frustrations and concerns. Please know that the total fee that you are being charged at non-RVCU ATMs is not coming to us. On that note, always remember that we have an ATM network with over 85,000 access points with our partnerships with Allpoint and Co-Op. These ATMs can be found in places like Walgreens, CVS, Target and more! You can find more information at rockvalleycreditunion.org/atm, that way you can avoid paying any sort of fees when needing cash.

  The policy at the bank rock valley are Bad,. I close my account it was to much fees they keep my savings but don't care if I close the account., don't use this bank,. O one thing the personal are friendly ,. Thank you for your help Abby, .

  I was in the market for a new vehicle when I came across rock valley credit union and I will say they delivered. The part I like is the family like atmosphere. Always the same faces which is a big deal to me. There usually fast processing your deposits. Its my first time using a credit union but my experience has been awesome. They have a bonus point system in which for every dollar you spend you will get X amount of points, points can be redeemed for a wide variety of stuff. You can even use them to add funds to your account if you overdraft. I have had bad experiences with them but there not like any other bank/credit union, they actually give you a chance when others won't. And not with a ridiculous annual percentage rate either. Please be advised that Rock Valley credit union is not currently accepting new applications.

  After being dragged around for weeks by Members Alliance CU on my vehicle loan refinance, I reached out to RVCU last Friday. By the following Tuesday - 3 days!- my loan had been refinanced and the funds disbursed! Steven Ramos is the lender who assisted me and literally everything was a breeze. I didn't have to go into the branch to open my member savings account (a requirement for membership and a loan for any CU), all of my loan documents were completed by Docusign, and did I mention it only took 3 days!? And the rate was excellent- 2.24% on a used car loan for 48 months. I will definitely consider moving accounts to RVCU in the future. The ONLY downside to be cautious of - if you apply online for a loan, their system defaults to a generic approval rate (mine was 3.74%). Be sure to follow up with them because that may be different than what you're actually eligible for.

  I have been banking with Rock Valley Credit Union for decades and have always received excellent customer service! In these days of financial insecurity credit unions offer the stability all families need..big conglomerate banks are just that and certainly do not have your families best interests at heart.. It’s all about you enhancing their bottom line not that they care about you and your family and your hometown like Rock Valley does. I would highly recommend this credit union!

  I have been with this branch since I was 16, they have been with me on highs and lows in my life. I was struck with a work injury that really made their characters shine. They worked with me the whole time. We had a few rough spots because they have a job to do and I was in a place where money was out of my control but in the end we made it out of the stress. Thank you is an understatement for all they've done. Plus they have fantastic rates.

  Customer service is 100%! They installed a new machine outside. Dan was outside on this cold rainy day, willing and ready to help banking members. He walked us through step by step how to use the new machine. He was so kind and patient!

  Very friendly and helpful staff. I do not care for the sub codes to differentiate accounts. I also feel talking to a loan officer on the phone instead of in person is extremely impersonal. Sometimes it takes several days to get an approval and paperwork done.

  Called to open a cheking account and was told I need an updated I’d or dl with current address. I don’t have either and a piece of mail such as utilities or government etc which I fount have . I have plenty of other mail like bank statements credit card statements etc but it’s not good enough . I live with my parents and all the things are in their name . I’ve been to 4 banks today and no luck . I would not recommend this bank
