  John Richlin/Robin Real Estate was very helpful with the purchase of a cabin that we recently made. John spent many Saturdays showing us properties before we made a purchase. His laid back and non-aggressive approach was much appreciated. John was always informed about the properties and responsive when we reached out to him. When it came to closing he and Tina were very accommodating and made it easy for us to close with the seller in absentia. We are very appreciative of all of their help and would recommend Robin Real Estate to anyone pursuing a land purchase in the greater Sullivan County area.

  Robin Fiester was sued in 2013 and lost her license for five years... Tina Richland and her old man, John, took it over and they don’t know what they’re doing either. Mr. Richland got the boundaries wrong when selling the adjoining property to mine. Then they recommended a “fly-by-night” local surveyor to survey the property for the buyers. The surveyor got the survey wrong. Now I have a lawsuit against the buyer because the real estate agent doesn’t know what he’s doing.

  Mr. Viall, I am sorry to hear of your experience. Although some facts are not correct. I feel I and Robin Real Estate only have the right to respond to anything that reflects on my company. The most important part is that John Richlin never marked your property. That person was the significant other of the former owner of Robin Real Estate and John Richlin was not involved in any way at all. I also know that a PA licensed surveyor did survey the land. I can also state that John is not an "Old Man", he is a young professional and very good at what he does. I am sorry about your issues but Robin Real Estate owned by John and Tina Richlin since 2010 run a reputable business and with a good reputation. I would truly appreciate a correction to your post.   I am currently embroiled in a conflict with Robin Real Estate over an air bnb issue. I booked a rental via air bnb for them for November and was quickly informed that I would have to pay them additional money as well as sign an additional contract that was not listed in the terms of the air bnb I had rented. I quickly contacted air bnb and they said that I had no obligation to pay any additional money or sign anything unless it was explicitly stated in the air bnb listing. When I returned to the listing it had changed from when I had booked to include a clause about signing an addition contract. This contract included many potential fines including a $250 fine for leaving any trash and a $100 fine for moving any of the furniture, they asked that we bring our own linens as well as our own towels and paper products. When I refused to sign it they said I would have to cancel and would receive no refund for the $725 I had paid. The terms of air bnb state that a host must disclose the terms of any additional contracts before accepting the rental. They did not and when I confronted Robin Real Estate I was told again that I would have to cancel if I wasn’t willing to sign the agreement and that no keys would be there for me even though I had already paid for the place. When I turned to air bnb about this they told me that the listing had been altered since I rented it and they have been waiting on a reply from robin real estate. They told me what is going on is very against their terms of service with hosts and I wanted to warn anyone who may consider dealing with these people that they have been very slimy with me and I have felt very taken advantage of. If I hadn’t contacted air bnb I would have been bullied into signing a very intense contract that I was under no obligation to sign. There has been radio silence from Robin Real estate the last few days including to the representative helping me with the case from air bnb. I don’t know when the last time I reviewed anywhere was. I never do this but this experience has really burned me.
