Always checking for fraud before I buy from a weird website (which I do often). ATM always working. Good security, good people, good service.

Melissa Ramirez2Pass-the-buck customer service. When moving from another state, don't expect your cashier's check to be available for 2 weeks. If they loose power be prepared to use cash. This is basically 3rd world banking. Ordered a new debit card a month ago and still haven't received it because they forgot to order it!!??

Elva Smith1This used to be my favorite bank, but since they moved to the new website I am always having issues, accessing their web page is ridiculously bothersome, and even getting help resolving these issues is now a 3 call process. The website has just completely ruined my experience with this bank and even though I have done business with them for over 15 years I can no longer recommend them. Customer service will straight up be rude over the phone.

Paq Vasq1Worst credit union and bank I’ve ever dealt with. Their customer service is the most mediocre. Their bank phone app is trash, always broken. If you use their checks and use only one check per month, they’ll still charge you 10 dollar service for that one check. They don’t send you monthly bank statements on account transactions. Don’t bank with RGVCU, you’ll regret it and develop an ulcer putting up with their unprofessional and total irresponsible pathetic service.

M G1How this place is still in business is beyond me. The ATMs are out of service more than they aren’t. No one ever answers the phone. Having tellers that count on their fingers is a bad sign. I’ve had an account here since it was Teacher’s Credit Union when I was a kid, which is the only reason I still do. Even the managers are clueless.

Competitive with other local credit unions but their dedication and commitment to their communities makes them stand out amongst the rest....My Credit Union!! Wouldn't move my banking anywhere else...

Irma Alaniz1Worse customer service ever. Bank teller provided me with the wrong information and the issues have been drastic. I called to talk to Missy and her assistant was rude and she was suppose to research the incidents and she has not yet had the decency to returned my phone. I have been with RGVCU since 1995 and have also financed a vehicle and the systems continues to misinform and deceive their customers. The tellers, loan officers clerks, and secretaries are the rudest and worst people I have ever dealt with. RGVCU employees unfortunately still continues to be the same and will probably never change.

Ricardo Quiroz1I was trying to get a personal loan and was denied simple for the fact that the lady didn’t know how to read a paycheck stub. She didn’t even know how many hours you must work to be considered a full time employee. She was very rude and didn’t even try helping me, she just dismissed me. RGV Credit Union needs to hire people with a business background and not some idiotic bigots.

Bonnie Catt1I've had a banking account here since 1997, once they changed from HATCU to RGVCU things changed for the worse. I started getting charged monthly for my Debit Card, they didn't update my address when I asked them to, so I didn't know I needed to contact them before a certain date in order to keep my current debit card from being deactivated (even though it's not even expired) and it was sent to my aunt, so I was not able to do it in time. Instead of them making it right, they told me there was nothing they could do... there is ALWAYS something you can do... they just chose to not have good customer service. So glad this is no longer my main bank.
