Dimitri Armstrong1Do yourself a favor and bank with First Citizens! They have better customer service. The loan dept here keeps charging me for things I already paid for. They are maliciously trying to destroy my credit intentionally. As a black man, I try to avoid the stereotype that we don't pay our bills on time by automating my car payment every month. So, I have never been late on a payment. I have paid this bank for the lapse in insurance that I had, and I just received another bill because the woman in the loan dept. is trying to intentionally ruin my credit. She sent a bill through the mail literally 5 days after it was due. This is the type of pettiness this bank will do just because they can't handle irate customers. Honestly take a look at the rating on google reviews and you will see that it's a 3.4! There is a reason for that! So, trust me when I say, there are better banks in the area to do business with. First Citizens or South Carolina Federal, will treat you better!

Kim Gram5We were referred to this credit union for the loan we needed for our future homesite. We live out of state and had no experience at all in this arena, they made the process extremely easy. Since then we have also purchased a car, at the end of the lease, using a loan from this credit union. Again a seamless process! We’re thrilled to have found this financial institution.

Andrew Marrs5Wilford Wulfenstein handled my vehicle loan application, an also handled my negotiation with the dealers for a much better deal, and worked on getting me a great interest rate. This person went above and beyond any loan officer I ever dealt with. Thank you so much!

Do not deposit checks mobile app. They only tell you the first time there may be a hold that way they can maximize fees from overdrafts when its on hold even though it shows in the account. Their phone service has been mixed sometimes terrible sometimes great. The debit cards stopped working the day they had all branches closed for training once rev took over. They have closed all atms in my area and the branch old trolley. I loved heritage trust but rev is no better than bank of america. But with less branches and atm access. Closing account once my banker ceo... i mean overdraft fees are cleared up from a check that would have cleared on the spot if i just walked it in. So $150 later....

David Bowers1Just received an email saying REV Credit Cards are temporarily experiencing issues as we convert to our new credit card system. Everytime REV or previously known as Heritage Trust did a change in their system there have been problems. Guess they don't do dry runs and tests before going live. Someone is asleep at the wheel. This Credit Union is inept.

As you can imagine, at times, technology doesn't always fully cooperate as intended when replacing old systems with new ones. We were made aware of a potential impact to Credit Cardholders, and we felt that it was important to communicate that with the membership.

Gary Ensminger1Terrible customer service. Didn't tell me my card was canceled. Tried calling, was told someone would call me back. No return phone call after 5 days. Called back and was told they are going through a lot and having hard time. Will close account ASAP and use a bigger Union that has stuff together.

Karen Slanker1Someone accessed my debit card online so REV cancelled my card- great! That’s what they should have done and I appreciate it; particularly since I was out of town at that time. However, I went to the bank today as soon as I returned to get a replacement debit card and they couldn’t do it. Why? Because they don’t have a debit card Machine any more; when they became REV, it was given to another bank in NC!!! What??!! So I would have to go to the W. Ashley branch - at least a 1.5 hour turnaround in 4:00 PM traffic in order to get a new debit card. This is NOT good customer service in any way!! The James Island branch had 3 tellers and 2 other employees there so it’s not that the branch isn’t large enough or busy enough! It is SO INCONVENIENT for The Customer!! I asked if they could overnight a new card to my home and No, of course they can’t do that either! I have been a member of Heritage Trust for over 15 years and have 5 or 6 accounts there. I am seriously planning to move every last one of them to another bank. Am I angry? Beyond Angry!
