Regions Bank Reviews

Mary Grimm1Regions will close your account for no reason, no explanation. I have never had an overdraft and always had a good size balance and get a letter stating, they were closing my account. Birmingham knew nothing and of course, the Branch knew nothing. I got my money and went to a good bank. Think twice before banking with Regions...
Response from the ownerHi, Mary! We'd like to speak with you to learn more about what happened. Please send your phone number to [email protected] and we'll call you. -Tyler

Day Trader1They have video banking drive through but every single time you pull up and hit the button for a teller it tells you that they are all busy every single time. Instead of a person coming on the screen to help you “the customer” they try to make you use anything other than a REAL PERSON…
Response from the ownerOur apologies for any frustrations this may have caused. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, so we may forward this information to the appropriate channel. -Trish

Rebecca Wells1You would think opting in for overdraft coverage means your card would decline when it would go under. Nope. It's the other way around. My account went negative 116 (all in overdraft fees, I only made it negative by a dollar), and they only re-instated the 72 dollars of the overdraft. Then was told "well there's you a tough lesson to learn!" like I was a child. Absolutely enraging. All because my card was originally ~-1.00. And no, I wasn't being rude to them and they talk to me like that. Will be closing my account.

Mike Smith1Regions Bank has lost touch with the average person who walks in their bank. I guess when you get as big as Regions your looking for making loans in the millions and not to worried about a 25K car loan. After my last visit to see about a car loan and waiting forever I left. I then went to my local Credit Union and they had a loan ready for me in about 20 minutes and then said they were sorry it to them so long. Regions didn't even care that I got tired of waiting, after an hour, and left.

Dylan Deerman1I would not recommend even if my life depends on it!!!!!! I had $500 come up gone and went to the Albertville branch talked to 2 workers and they both told me they couldn't help me. I was on the phone for 3 hours and all they told me it was ok for someone to take $500 out of my account and there was nothing they could do for me. Its a pathetic excuse of a bank to let someone rob me and steal $500 form me.
Response from the ownerWe're sorry to hear about your customer service experience. We'd be glad to learn more to document your concerns. To further discuss feel free to email us at [email protected]. -Trish

Brandon Keener4This is where I bank for work. The staff is attentive if a little frenzied. But I must give a shout out to my favorite tellers, Ms. Erin and Ms. Brandy. Those two can usually get me in and out in 3 minutes. These ladies are absolute pros at what they do. Great job ladies. Will see you next week.

Richard Turner1By far the worst bank I’ve ever used. The drive through is a joke, the bank by phone is non existent and the online banking has very limited options. That’s assuming the site is even up and running that day.

Jessica McBurnett1Okay so I got a check that was over a thousand and they locked my account without talking to me. And when I tried to call the bank it just went to the green line and I stayed on the line to be connected to a banker and it just shut off

Melissa Rice1After going through a 5 minute robot controlled generic phone service, was transferred to a phone that does not have voicemail. Why is there no local phone number? Why do I have to sign a signature card for the 5th time?

Brandon Mikel1Worst bank possible for someone younger trying to build credit; they don’t even begin to try to work with you.
