Regions Bank Reviews

alyssa rainer1I've been coming to regions in NW FL weekly for almost 7 years for our business. I was so excited to learn that there was a Regions within close proximity to my new neighborhood, so I've recently begun visiting this branch more frequently. I regret having come here each time I do. I am almost always greeted by the same lady with a bitter tone & often many unfriendly things to say. It made me realize how many unkind remarks can be made in 10 minutes if a person looks for the negative in every situation and interaction. It's most surprising because I am a happy & peaceful person, I'm patient & understanding in almost all circumstances. I find that I am always spoken to in a dismissive & condescending tone by one specific individual at one specific location. I've never been treated so poorly & so consistently through giving someone business. I will start making more time in my day to drive out to the branches that seem to light up when they see me. I dread my visits here.

Diet Doctor1The worst bank ever! If you fall for one of their bonus incentives to open and account DON'T, they do not pay them. Specifically went in to the bank to open the account to make sure they couldn't use any excuses that something wasn't done correctly. Even confirmed before leaving that everything was done. 5 months later still no payment of bonus. Even went in to the bank to check why it wasn't paid. Was told it's coming. Go back in to bank 1 month only to be told by Nancy that the offer expired. Rather than being helpful the banker "Nancy" trys weak attempts to be condescending and hide behind her lack of customer service knowledge. There is a reason they have a 1 star rating. Nancy is the one who filled out all the information and still they claim it was incorrect. I told them SunTrust has a 5 star rating she then says you should bank there. I WILL! AGAIN AVOID THIS BANK, READ THE REVIEWS!

Robin Devor4I'm really surprised this branch has bad reviews. I've banked here for 12 years after switching from Wells Fargo and I have had 1 bad experience in that time with someone that no longer works there. The tellers and the bankers are always polite, even when they are busy and under staffed.
Response from the ownerHi, Robin! We always want you to have a great experience and look forward to providing this into the future. Please visit us if you ever need us again! -Tyler

jennifer yeager1When we walked in the lobby was full of people sitting there waiting to speak to someone. I found out why later whenever my husband & I both tried to contact someone there for a whole week with no response. Calls to both the branch number and the direct number of the person we spoke to there would just ring & ring and ring with no option to leave a message. Our emails were ignored. At the time we were there no one was at the teller windows and one of the loan officers did not have anyone in his office so I'm not sure why no one answers the phone but that's horrible customer service. I would not do business at this location.
Response from the ownerHi, Jennifer! We're sorry to hear of this experience! If you send your contact information to [email protected], we'll call you to learn more. -Tyler

andystop941ATM Deposit hasn’t worked for a month at least for deposits, no deposit slips for night drop slot, and ridiculous hours. Great bank if you don’t work and can go in person. Edited: Can't even get anyone to answer phones today to find my missing deposit from two weeks ago... Changing banks ASAP.

Sergii Pluzhnyk1Very incompetent staff, can’t even do some simple operation like wire transfer. STAY AWAY FROM REGIONS BANK as far as you can. Its not a bank its just a deposit box!
Response from the ownerWe'd like to apologize for any trouble you have had. If we can further speak with you, please send us an email to [email protected]. -Ana

Aaron Lambert1Today was the last straw. Will be closing my account and telling everyone what a terrible customer service regions has. A constantly rude teller named mathew Jones. Has caused me trouble for the last time. He has refused to cash my check, claiming that 'he can't' which is very convenient considering I then drive 2 miles down the road to the next regions walk in and have absolutely no problem cashing.

andrew phelan1My wife and I applied for a home equity loan for 50% of the value of our house and furnished proof of our ability to pay the loan and the application was rejected the next day. How does any bank evaluate a loan risk in 24 hours? The loan officer was very unprofessional and appears to not know what she's doing.

Robert Owens1Not sure what Sarah Roberts problem is. Walked in there to get help with an overdraft fee that was in bank error, met with horrible attitude. Knew she would be a problem from the moment I walked in and wasn’t even hardly greeted. Then get the run around—how they reversed an overdraft 10 years ago how I was just out of luck. Didn’t even bother reviewing the charges. No wonder banks are worried about Bitcoin. Poor. Poor. Poor Service.

Johnny Webster1I’ve been a Regions customer since 1977 when it was known as First Alabama Bank. This branch as the worst customer service of any I have dealt with. If you have an issue they will assure you it’s not their fault they just had too many customers today.
