  I had a little trouble with their location being quite far from where I live, however, I don't consider that to be a problem with R&G Brenner and their services. The agent I worked with seemed amiable, good natured and very knowledgeable. R&G Brenner made doing my taxes very quick and convenient. So I give them 5 stars.

  Great place! Great customer service. Last year Tom Nuss did my taxes for me but was not available for the day I booked my appointment(online). He took his time to reach out to me to let me know he will not be available that day but Mr Daniel Shapiro will be handling my taxes. Mr. Daniel Shapiro took his time, explained everything to me, made sure I understood. Overall I’m very satisfied and will be going back In future. Thank you for a great experience.

  Tom Nuss at the Middle Village office is very thorough, professional and pleasant to deal with after many years of searching for a tax prepared Tom was a gift. I would recommend Tom to anyone.

  I had my taxes prepared by Mr. Thomas Nuss. Mr. Nuss did a great job as always. I have nothing but good things to say about him. He is a real professional and a very decent human being. However, I am very unsatisfied with R&G Brenner. My tax preparation bill came to over $600 which is almost double of what I was paying for the past two years - about $300. After negotiating with the management, Mr. Nuss was able to bring the bill down to $420, still hundred dollars more than last year. I find the fees to be excessive. I will be looking to go elsewhere next year. I think you will find many other customers doing the same.

  Dear Artie, Thank you for your feedback. At R&G Brenner, we charge by the form. The form value of your tax return prices out at $555. You were charged $420, a significant discount. In order to offer free value added services like audit protection, identity theft insurance & our new mobile app, we can no longer offer the discounts you’ve received in the past $320. We hope that you will reconsider returning to us next year as we are confident you will be hard pressed to receive the professional services we offer (by a CPA no less) for the fee you paid.

  Scott Kestenbaum was wonderful. He worked with me around my very busy schedule, and utilized technologies (e-mail, text messaging and telephone) to keep me up to date on the preparation of my taxes. He also did a lot of research re: my particular tax issues (tuition remission). He was patient, available and transparent through the entire process. I look forward to working with him again next year. Anna (the receptionist) was also very friendly and helpful. Thanks Team R&G!
