  Today I went to put a check in my account as I have done many times. My father paid me with one of his checks by Endorsing it to me as he had done many times in the past and the bank had no problem doing this. Today they would not do a third party check. I was informed by the actual manager, who I don’t think gave me her name, that I couldn’t do this because it was against the law and had been since 9/11 due to people committing fraud. Which is just asinine. I told her I was going to look it up on google, because I knew she was lying. And I had my father call and sort it out because he also has an account with this bank. All said and done I get my money but I’m a bit ticked off about being lied to by the manager. Some banks do not allow third party checks but I knew from experience this bank does. I understand you want to prevent fraud, but don’t lie to your customers and account holders. Makes me seriously question if I should bank with you. The teller having the audacity to tell me they’ll allow it this one time… lady I’ve been doing this for a half year now….maybe this should be the last time I use your bank 😒 Edit: I told him I was going to take down the review but I think this is a better course of action now that I’ve thought about it. Bank owner called me and talked to me about my experiences. Cleared up some problems and inconsistencies. Their policy is to not to do third party checks normally. From what I gather, the fact I haven’t had this problem here or at the bank on Washington road to begin with is because people were allowing it (possibly because it wasn’t a large amount). I’ve had pretty good service beside this occasion… the 9/11 thing threw me for a loop though. I now know more about 9/11 because I really did look that up. Many small businesses were ruined because of information and paperwork lost, loved ones were lost, innocent lives were ruined both here in the US and over seas as a consequence of this horrible period in time…..but there are no actual laws about third party checks as far as I can find. I forgive the people for giving me false information… I hope they can forgive my long winded rant. Hope y’all have a good day, thank you.

  I will never use this bank again. My special needs son had an account and was supposed not have overdraft protection and they had it on there anyway so now he owes a bunch of fees. And the bank manager wouldn't even take one off to help him out.

  Queensborough Bank is a very friendly and informative bank. If I have a banking question, I know that I can pick up the phone and call Charles Bennett, or anyone on his team, and my question will be explained. They will even reach out after business hours, if that is a better time for me--the customer. I appreciate our relationship with Queensborough Bank.

  Queensborough has been a great bank to work with for approximately 12 years. When the COVID-19 pandemic became and issue and our business had to basically shut down, they really stepped up to the plate. They helped guide us through the PPP loan process and have been incredibly responsive and supportive. It has confirmed that we picked the right people to bank with!

  A true Hometown Bank that puts their customers first. Very easy to deal with and respond quickly to your request. During the PPP program there was constant change in government required paperwork and Charles Bennett was extremely helpful in coaching us through the paperwork. We also found out that his "bankers hours" started early in the morning and went well into the weekends.

  I'm a small business owner/health care provider and cannot express enough gratitude towards Charles Bennett and the wonderful team members at Queensborough National Bank and Trust. Charles was instrumental in helping me get my PPP loan application started and followed it through the required process, so in just a matter of days, the loan money was in the bank. The QNBT team was professional, efficient and hardworking despite the obstacles they faced while working from home, with the limited resources, compared to working from their offices at the bank. I can't say enough about QNBT and how they made a tough situation much easier because I felt like they cared. Thank you QNBT for your personal service, caring gestures, and always going the extra mile for me!

  The Queensborough Branch in Grovetown, is absolutely top notch!! Charles Bennett and his staff are always willing to accommodate and they work very hard on customer satisfaction which makes their customer service second to none. I've banking there for many years and it is a great place to bank!!
