Roman Buelna3In the beginning they were very helpful....... I had lost my job and talked to Cesar, ( manager ) of the Broadway branch , and explained about stopping payments on ach withdrawals. I talked to the businesses first , however they continue to keep trying which is charging my account 29.00 each time. So fat 8 fees have been applied and Cesar still won't return my phone calls. How uncaring and unprofessional when it was his employee that misinformed me to begin with! I strongly urge people to beware with this branch and it's employees. Smh

Manny Tona1Completely Disgusted! Hopefully the other 3 branches don't operate in the same fashion. I take my brother in law to open a lousy savings account. Ceasar tells him that he had to run a credit check. Odd? No! He says Pyramid Federal Credit Union. Or at least this location runs check systems on all minorities! Don't have to tell you what color his skin is...... It's unbelievable the way you pukes treat our Veterans.

Cassie5These folks have great customer service, fast times and their lobby looks great. There are limitations as they are a credit union and not a large banking institution, however, they are honest and make sure that your money is secure. Even the user friendly app uses extra security measures to verify your identity online. Very pleased our recent switch.

Cassi Grotepas1Had a great experience opening my account, with good customer service, but since have become very unhappy. First, it took over a month to get my debit card. I called about two weeks in and was told it could take up to 20 business days for it to be delivered. I was also told that if my card hadn't arrived by then, they would overnight a new one to me. Well, two weeks later when it had been 20 business days, no card. When I called the credit union, I was told it could take up to another week! After pushing, the representative talked to management and the agreed to overnight it (of course, it still took three days). The whole situation was very upsetting, as I work 75 hours per week and am unable to make it to their office when open. No debit card, so essentially my money was sitting in the credit union for a month completely untouchable by me. Once I got my card, I thought things would go smoothly. Unfortunately, that's not the case. Trying to log on to look at accounts online is a nightmare. Heaven forbid you forget your password when it isn't office hours, because there's absolutely no way to reset your password yourself using your email or phone number. And if you're me, forget about checking your balances over the phone. When putting in my account and pin, I'm told that they're incorrect. This is also very upsetting, and, especially on the first count, a major flaw. I would cancel my account here and join a different credit union in a second, if I could ever actually make it to an office during business hours.

Jen Istired1I was able to walk in, withdraw the full balance of my account and close the account without having to show any identification or give any information besides my name!! I couldn't believe it. It was an old account a family member had set up for me that I had never touched, so I had never been to this bank, must less this branch, and they couldn't have had any idea I was who I said I was!! For that reason alone, I would say protect your money and go somewhere else! All someone needs is your name and they can go in and take all of your money. I did have to sign something, but again, nothing was required to show I was who I said I was. The one-star rating is also due to poor customer service and the crazy amount of fees they had charged to this account. I never write reviews, but I thought this was egregious enough that other people should know. I would give zero stars if I could.
Response from the ownerPyramid FCU never permits any kind of information to be shared nor any activity to occur on any member account without completing member identification, which can be done a number of ways. Pyramid FCU charges fees common to the industry. Our fees are set based on market studies to be at or below the local market. Service charges and fees generally reflect costs incurred by the membership (credit union) as a result of action or inaction of the charged member… so that one member does not have to pay for another member’s choices. That said, it is easy to understand frustration with incurring fees. Pyramid FCU follows a number of fee avoidance and forgiveness practices common among Credit Unions. Additionally we follow several fee avoidance practices that are very rare even among Credit Unions... to help members anticipate and avoid incurring fees.

What2I used to really like this bank but as of the last few months, I've been having more and more problems. The cherry on top was the recent update that left me unable to access my money for multiple days. I still can't use the online banking, and it seems I can't get ahold of anyone on the phone for help.

j eb2I recently joined and haven’t gotten the same information twice! You would think a credit union would have standards. Apparently this one doesn’t. I have cash in my account I can’t use because I was told by the person who opened my account my debit care would arrive in a couple of days. It has not. Then I was told it could be a couple of weeks by someone else. I was never told/asked about checks so I don’t have those either. I’m sorry I opened this account.

Steven Fontes1Complete trash of a bank. Mother passed away and I am the beneficiary. The asst manager working with me is barely helpful, their ATM's are too archaic to deposit the check correctly, and the ATM wouldn't allow me to withdraw funds in my situation for some reason. Either the company and policy is terrible or the associate I was working with was not cooperative enough. I'm left with more questions than answers. Embarrassment of a company.
