Public Service Credit Union Reviews

Joya Mills4It wasn't a long line, about 6 people. There were 2 tellers so it wasn't a long wait. Customers wore mask and socially distanced. My teller was friendly and professional. I like the Public Service branch.

Erika Warren1I’ve used this place for years good service for the most part. My visit on 10/28/20 was horrible. There was a long line and only one teller. All the other workers siting around chatting and such as the line gets longer and longer no one tries to open a window. Everyone in the line complaining. I ask for the manager. She supposedly in a meeting. When she do come out she was very rude and had no regard for the people in the line. She said she had to help the other teller and said it very nasty. She had no urgency about getting the people in and out. This company should really te consider this young lady position, because her attitude and customer service sucks.

Monique Johnson1DO NOT JOIN THIS CREDIT UNION! THEY CHARGE A FEE FOR EVERYTHING!! I wish I didn't have to give 1 star! For starters, I was told that in order to open up an account with this credit union, I must deposit $50 in my savings, and $50, in my checking. 2nd, you must maintain $250.00 in your checking account, or you will be charged a monthly fee. If you do not have direct deposit, you will be charged a mothly fee. Furthermore, the direct deposit must equal a total amount of at least $800.00 a month, or you will be charged a fee. They automatically send you paper statements in the mail simply so they can charge you a fee. Most banking institutions do e-statements automatically, so you will not be charged right away. I am a breast cancer patient. I am not working at this time. I have no income coming in whatsoever. I can not afford all of these fees, so I asked for my deposit money back. Plus, the $250.00 that was in my checking account. The lady told me over the phone that I would have to pay $25 to close my account since it has not been open for 6mos. When I go in to close out the account, they tell me that it is a $50.00 charge! It wasn't until I called the police because it was taking so long for the lady to give me my money, and I threatened to call the Better Business Bureau, that they changed the charge to $25. I advise anyone reading this to join MotorCity Credit Union. No hidden fees there.

Za’Hara BossBaby1Horrible service and the a assistant manager lakeisha Patterson is very rude and disrespectful. She shouldn’t be serving customers. She need more training on how to deal with her customers and be and speaking in a personal manner.
