  A few months ago I deposited the proceeds of an estate I administered in the Moreno Valley branch of Provident. The branch Ms. Katie Leal branch VP was my primary contact. Of all the banking and banks I contacted world wide, at one time I handled international credit, she is among the very best people I dealt with. She makes the Provident branch in Moreno Valley worth doing business with.

  We like this bank. We were former customers of Riverside National Bank. When RNB was sold to Citibank, our account was debited with huge fees. We left in a hurry. The people at Provident are nice, and know you by name when you walk in the door.

  Ive been with this bank for 16 yrs...i love them...wish there were more branches but then i wouldnt get the great customer service i always get. Ive made a few good decisions in my life and banking with Provident is one. .

  Thinking of opening an account at Provident? I'll save you the trouble: Run, don't walk, to another bank. This sad excuse for a financial institution has yet to join the late 20th century, let alone the 21st - Most types of online access taken for granted at most any other place, doesn't even exist here. Use Quicken? Fugetaboutit - No access. Also, our debit card is always denied for larger purchases, due to ridiculously low purchase limits, and there is no live customer service after normal business hours to help. Definitely a no-no. After 4 years of putting up with this *%#!, we're done.

  Good local business. Needs to partner with another business for online banking and ATM technology however. Needs to start providing solar loans.

  6 people working and nobody else in line and I have to wait 20 minutes to get helped

  When I walk into this branch for service, I feel as though I'm visiting family. All of the staff from the Manager on down gives me 110% service. It just doesn't get anybetter than that.

  Things are not looking good compare to a couple years back, always see new faces, going to move on soon.
