Harvey Floyd1Oh, my gosh!! What a mess this place is!! They really, really, really need to be sent back to school on customer service skills. And, they need a new IT department. Their online banking system is a mess and when you try to get help with it, it is either useless or you're ignored. I was opening a checking account and it was a terrible mess. . . I changed my mind and put my money somewhere else. Not as convenient to me, but much better internet access and much, much better customer service. Their online respondent in Magee, MS, should be replaced. . .

The transactions were all taken out of my account automatically but still if you know there not not money why would you do that. Update: lawsuit was settled and now I’m paying 200 a month for the next 6-7months

R W1In my objective opinion, I encountered one of the most racially biased experiences in over 24 years. Lenders have discretion as to whose checks they hold as well as how long they hold checks. On December 18, 2020. I went to deposit a simple check. The teller said she would contact the originating bank regarding the funds. Yes, she had the information on the check. But I offered her the specific bank and the branch manager of the bank where I normally do business. I also offered her my social security number (which of course is in the file). She refused. She did not ask me to come into the bank for verification. She made very little effort to release the check. This post is not long enough to go into detail. But let's just say that as a college professor who also passed the CPA exam in 2002 and does research using commercial lending officers as subjects, this was the worst experience I have ever encountered. On the bright side, if you plan to do business with the bank, please work with Mrs. Kami, who opened my account. Otherwise, as a person of color, I would not recommend using Priority One (Hattiesburg). These thoughts represent my views of my personal experience and may not reflect all Priority One Lending Institutions
