Prairieland Federal Credit Union Reviews
I
Illinois guy3I like banking here and everyone is always really nice but no lobby hours on Saturday which is ridiculous how any working person going to get anything done? Also better to deal with them in person than over the phone more gets done that way. Have a loan through them when paid off will most likely switch banks.

Andrea Elser1My partner and I walked in looking to finance a new car. I had all of my paperwork ready and organized, complete with steady and abundant account balances. We were set up with Marcia. She was terrible to us. She treated us like we were stupid for coming in there. She didn't stand up to shake our hands. She scoffed at my credit score-which I was open about the fact that I am financing to build my credit even though I could pay for a car in cash. We were recommend by a friend and branch manager of our bank to finance through Prairie land, and I really regret ever stepping foot in there. We both have worked in customer service for years, and Marcia missed the mark on all standards.

Jordan Nechkash1This bank is extremely hard to work with. When questions arise, they never answer their phones or return calls unless it involves them getting their money; anything relative to customer care or service is disregarded. I’ve had a vehicle finance loan paid off for more than a year and it’s still showing up on my credit report as an open account. Take you banking business elsewhere. Prairieland is comparable to Woodforest.

Teresa Crawford1Can’t wait to get my money out of here and go somewhere else, but it’s damn near impossible because of their TERRIBLE lobby hours. 9am-4pm on weekdays only?! How is anyone with a regular job supposed to do that??? Also, what kind of bank refuses to take PayPal and Square payments? I can’t even deposit my income from my side business because my stupid bank won’t take my money. Banking here was a huge mistake.

Brenda Kitchens5Been with this bank several years. They have worked well with me on my loans and accounts. The only thing I would like to see them change is for the lobby to be open on Saturdays for a couple hours.

Norm Heartsfield1Impossible to deal with. Poor management!! 7 years after accounts closed and they are still a pain. Welch on payment arrangements. DO NOT BANK HERE!!!
