  We started to work with Lorne in May, 2018. Lorne was able to qualify us for a low interest mortgage despite some financial concerns in our past. He relieved our anxieties throughout this process by always being available to answer a question or addressing a concern. Lorne has helped us and he has also helped our children achieve the dream of being homeowners, which was not easy in this Denver market! Thank you, Lorne!

  This refinance was an experience like we hadn’t had before, and luckily we had Lorne by our side to guide us through it. What started out as a simple process to lower our interest rate and monthly payment turned into a complicated web of phone calls and negotiations that we never thought or knew would be necessary. The refinance was going along smoothly until the day we received the title commitment on our house and realized that, without our knowledge, several collection agencies/law firms had placed liens on our home due to issues that had taken place back during the recession in 2008. You can imagine how angry and I frustrated I was to first learn of these liens, and second to realize how much interest had been added to the original debts. Plus, the liens continue to grow daily and can take up most or all of the equity remaining in your home if not handled properly. This is the point where Lorne stepped in and really helped us. Lorne let us know that he had experience in dealing with theses collection companies going back over many years. He came over our house to sit down with us and research each lien to find where it had originated, figure out who to call and finally to locate what company held the debts. He then made conference call after conference call with us and the collectors to help negotiate down the debts and get them paid off through our refinance. While we now owe more on our home than we had anticipated, had we not started this refinance process we would perhaps never have known these liens existed until the day we wanted to sell our house, and maybe, by then, all of our equity would have been taken up by the interest on these liens. Thanks to Lorne and his many hours of house calls, phone calls, research and negotiations on our behalf, we were able to clean up this mess from our past and move forward with a much lower interest rate and monthly payment than we had before, all while being rid of these liens.

  My wife and I did a refi on our home consolidating our existing mortgage and a HELOC into one new loan. Lorne asked us a few questions and for a few documents then did all the work while we went on vacation. When we returned a closing was already set up for us and was done at our home and at our convenience. Lorne got us a great rate and in the end our new monthly premium is lower than our old mortgage. And, of course, no more HELOC pymts. It was one of the easiest and stress free mortgage or refis that we have ever been through. Thanks Lorne for a GREAT job!!

  I had an unusual case that Lorne worked very hard on, and now I'm saving tons of money and couldn't be happier. I am self-employed, so the documentation was pretty involved. Also, the underwriter got sick with COVID-19, so that threw a wrench in things, but Lorne helped coordinate and keep things moving until we were done. Thanks, Lorne!
