PNC Mortgage Reviews

Bruce Slusser1Our family has worked with PNC for decades now and I have had my previous mortgage through PNC. I will never, work with PNC again and I will be pulling all of our business from PNC. I have never worked with a more incompetent group of individuals. It is nearly impossible to get a hold of ANYONE who is working on your loan. It is always on their schedule and if you miss an important call, you are guaranteed to wait until next week to get back in touch with anyone. They not only were un-responsive, but completely dropped the ball on the dates we discussed and we are not in a crisis, and about to be left homeless. NEVER will I use PNC again....NEVER!

Leasa Sothma1I have never left a review for any partners in business such as a lender or title company out of professional, but my experience was so horrible that I felt I needed to reach out. I am a realtor and I have NEVER in my career dealt with such unprofessional. I worked with Mary Green and Andrew dunseth. I would go weeks without communication from Andrew and when I did get an email back he would answer none of my questions and then say he needed documents that were already sent. Multiple times my client and myself had to send things over and over and I called probably a total of 20 times and left voicemails and he never once returned my call. As for Mary Green, when she took over the deal I thought that it would get better, but I was wrong. She was rude, had poor communication, and straight up lied to me about multiple things. Then proceeding the loan, she blamed the fact the deal took over 100 days on the fact that he was using a VA loan. Understandably, sometimes they can have stricter requirements but she snottily said well it's a VA, as the fact that he served our country inconvienced him. Also, Mary gave me the number of the supervisor (after me asking multiple times and she refused) and I called the supervisor twice and left a voicemail, without a response. At the end of the day the underwriting was asking for things that I have never had a lender request. Had all of the contracts and amenents within 2 weeks into the deal and months later decided that things needed changed. The only person that was even remotely helpful was terry young, he went out of his way to assist us and try to get down to the bottom of certain issues, so I thank him. I am personally moving all my my accounts from PNC after banking with you guys for over a decade. My poor client was put through the ringer... This was not his first rodeo , he has bought multiple homes before and was over qualified for the price point. For what should have been a simple deal stressed out not only my clients but myself, the listing agent, and the seller. Something in managent needs to be done in order to correct these issues and start treating your customers like they are more than a number.
