PNC Bank Reviews

Sally Z3I just went in to deposit some checks, the teller seemed annoyed, she was not smiling, not talking. Professional does not interpret to being robotic. I don’t know if she was prejudiced but she has ZERO customer service skills at least for today. Even when you’re having a bad day remember the individual you’re dealing with might have it harder. Smile, be cheerful and approachable, it costs nothing. I usually frequent the Carnegie branch and people up there are friendly and I hope they remain so. It is extremely important that businesses uphold this end of the rope.

Jayesh Sakariya1Hi I was calling about my loan application and I was waiting on phone fir 10 min and someone finally answered my call and she said is it Margaret, I said no and she literally hang up on me. So she won't ask me why you r calling and how can I help you? Nothing. I call again and then someone else answered and he asked for name, phone number and even social security number!!!!!!!. So do we need to give SSN to talk to someone at bank????? REALLY. WORST EXPERIENCE.

Joseph Pailo3Stood in the line at the teller. A customer came in after me, so the woman at the kiosk helped him and ignored me. Then two more employees came from behind their desks, and instead of helping me, they started talking about what they hated about the rainy day. So I went outside, got in my car, and had to use the drive through. PNC, remember customers are important and you should help them, not ignore them. The woman at the drive through was nice.

Dan L.1Always an awkward experience dealing with the employees here. I highly recommend the Downtown branch near Market Square.

Kara1Worst branch. If you need a PNC branch that actually knows what they are talking about, head to Robinson

Kris Milliken5Honestly not sure why this place was only given a 2.4 rating. I have been in here a few times with zero issues, but I also did not have any bizarre/rare occurrence that others seem to be having. I opened a business checking account with the Manager, Tim Lyon, and he was very amicable and helpful. The teller that took my inquiry was also very eager to help — immediately getting someone to help set up the account. This will be my branch of choice for the length of my stay in Bridgeville.

Jason Cramer1Teller has no clue what customer service is. Deposited a check and she asked for my debit card/driver’s license so I placed it on the counter in front of her. She then stared blankly at me for 30-40 seconds. Apparently I should have known that this was my cue to give her my check before she even looked at my cards. I apologized for the awkward wait and she sighed. After she finished the transaction, she closed with a “here ya go..” no thank you, no goodbye, no pleasantries at all, only her apparent dismay that I came in today. My 9year old daughter had cash to deposit for her account but I wasn’t going to push my luck. so we left with her cash in hand. Maybe another bank/location will show some appreciation for their customers ?

Lori Palmieri1Awful customer service. Have been a PNC customer for 40 years. Questioned my withdrawing cash from my checking account. Refused to give me what I requested. Told me to return and withdraw the rest of my money the next day. Questioned me like I wasn't permitted to withdraw my own money even after I gave them PNC ID, PA Driver's license and Federal Employee ID. I wouldn't even give them one star. GO to the Oakdale Branch where people treat you professionally!!!!!

Ellen Murphy5My family has a great relationship with PNC, with numerous savings and checking accounts between all six of us (4 kids). Because of this, we end up at the bank every week, sometimes multiple times a week to make changes to our accounts, deposit and withdraw, and perform other actions. The majority to the time we are met with professional tellers and bankers whom we have come to know through our frequent visits, and they are willing to provide guidance and help through their expertise. The bank is especially busy on Fridays, but is mostly an in-and-out trip without a long wait. Personal bankers and tellers alike have always been helpful, making this our favorite local PNC location.
