  The employees at Mariner Finance have treated me with kindness and respect. I love the personal touch that they add with every interaction. Conner and Jeff at the Bridgeville Branch have been very attentive and helpful. I was in a tough spot and Jeff really showed me kindness and gave me the best solution available.   Jeff, from the Bridgeville office, is the greatest! Not only does he competently take care of every last detail of every loan transaction I have been involved with, but he has also managed to to be both personable and professional, all at the same time. It is a very difficult task to accomplish, yet Jeff does it with ease, which is a sign of a great multi -tasker. I would highly recommend Mariner Finance, and Jeff, to anyone needing to borrow money, or desiring financial advice. He is truly an asset to your company.

  Jeff is a great asset to this company. He explained everything in a way that I can understand and made the application process of securing a loan efficient and stress-free. I've never had any issues with Mariner Finance and they have always treated me with respect and willing to help in any way they can. I would recommend checking them out!

  The UX on their website is great. Its got a clean design and great usability. I spoke with Diane on the phone, she was very helpful and got my loan processed very quickly. I had the whole process complete in about 30 minutes. I was then transfered to someone else to walk though the contract. My only complaint is that the guy on the phone seemed to be rushing me through the process, he was reading very quickly and moving on before I had a change to absorb it. Like I said, minor. I'm sure he'd have slowed down if I'd asked.

  My loan officer (Jeff W) was very rude and unprofessional - he made comments about my appearance and weight - and then when I said something to him about it, he said he was 'joking' and not trying to be offensive. I was so taken aback, and embarrassed and hurt, and I almost walked out of the office - I still have not cashed the check and I'm seriously considering returning everything and telling them where to stick it. I never met this guy before my appointment - he had no business 'joking' with me in that manner. I don't even joke with my friends about appearance and weight. I didn't realize there was a 'dress code' to attend a loan closing (was wearing jogging pants and a t-shirt). His comments really made me feel terrible for days after. He doesn't know me or the issues and anxieties I've struggled with over my life, and especially during COVID. He really confirmed to me why I do not like dealing with people in public. I would NOT recommend this place - and ESPECIALLY 'that guy'. Wonder if he comments on men's appearance too? Sexist.

  DO NOT USE! I'm convinced this place is a scam. We tried to pay off our loan three times they but they kept rejecting our payment, and charging us a bunch of fees on top. We called in and asked to pay off the balance, and two days later, there was another $150 on the account that they said was "interest." We called to pay that off, and they STILL didn't close the account, leaving it open with 70¢ on the account. We've been battling for 4 months and have recordings of customer service telling us the account is paid off and closed... But then there is always something more left, one more fee... BE CAREFUL if you choose Mariner!
