PNC Bank Reviews

Double D5Seeing the negative reviews of this branch is weird to me. I've never had an issue with the drive thru atm, except one time I tried to deposit a check that had both my name and another person's name on it. It wouldn't accept it because that other person's name wasn't on the account. So it actually saved me a fee. I've never used the walk up atm. Maybe that's the bad one? I don't go in the branch often but it's open as often as you'd expect for a bank. Maybe I'm the outlier here, but they've always been available to me whenever Ive needed them.

Mike Yeager1This location is a joke. I understand that current circumstances are hard on everyone, but I feel this branch has a desire to make it even harder. It is nearly impossible to run a business out of an ATM for banking needs. That is IF THE EVEN WORK... It is likewise impossible to wait in an hour long drive up line while running a business. Oh but I can make an appointment to do banking business, well, that would work if I knew when I may need to make deposits. I do not know that I need to make a deposit every Monday at 3pm... This is real life, there is no way to know this type of thing is all businesses. While other banks are bending over backwards to help the customer, this bank sits atop its throne and commands it's CUSTOMERS what they can and can not do.

Native American1I personally love the people at the branch, they treat me like gold, especially Lisa and Jennifer. The way corporate has handled the pandemic is a joke. They have Zero chance of getting my investments and I plan to find a bank that is actually open for my business and personal needs.

Macaira King1Use caution when using this locations ATMs. Twice their drive thru ATM has crashed on me while counting a cash deposit. Which means I have to wait ten days to get my money!! I asked staff if the ATM has been having issues like this and they admit to it having problems. They won’t warn you and you won’t receive an apology for any inconvenience.

Carli Hobbs1ATM sucks. Always eats my card or money. Very close to switching bank providers.

Courtney McAdams1If I could give this bank zero stars I would. THE WORST customer service I have EVER received! I went in on Tuesday to open an another account at another location and there bankers were unavailable. No big deal. So I went to the Colerain Ave location. I waited 45 minutes in the lobby, again no big deal, I can deal with a wait. The poor banker was the only one available. When it was my turn I did get a teller and she told me she could not open the account for me, nor could the other banker. I was a little frustrated but I get it, things happen. So I make an appointment for the banker who can told at 3:30 PM. I told the teller when she made my appointment that I work crazy hours and so I’m coming straight from work. Well I get a call at work from the banker I had a meeting with to make sure I had the create documents for our meeting. I wasn’t told what documents I needed so when I returned the call after I left work at 2:30 PM , I get a teller who tells me the banker took a half day so she left. She basically cancelled my appointment with her and wasn’t going to tell me? The teller was extremely rude and told me “oh well she’s gone so i can’t help you”. I work in customer service and the first thing she should’ve done was apologize. Then when I asked to be transferred to her voicemail she said she would leave a message for her so when I told her my message she said “no I’ll just leave your name and number”. Seriously I thought this was a joke like I was being punked. If it wasn’t for the White Oak location I would’ve closed this account and went to Fifth Third to open this account up. So bottom line if you want a good banking experience where you’re treated like a human instead of an inconvinence, definitely go to PNC White Oak.

Zach Theilman1Have been a customer for years with no issues and then had an issue one time, with an overdraft then then charged me 180$ in fees over a weekend timeline. Tried to get them to work with me but they insisted they were assessed correctly which is ridiculous. terrible customer service they only care about the fees and up charges they get from you. Customer loyalty means nothing to them. Do not go there unless you want to pay fees on fees on fees for everything.

Laura Lambe3Had to go in for a money order. There was a long wait, finally got in with someone. He was nice and pleasant. He knew I was in a hurry so was doing his best, then of course his computer froze. I then had to wait again for someone else to open up. Everyone was nice, but it seems everytime I'm in there a machine or computer is down.
