PNC Bank Reviews

Krista Wood1I had/have an account there, but have moved 6 hours away. I never got any info about the switch from BBVA. When I called the national PNC number, they were beyond rude & said only a physical branch could help me. Today, I called & was on hold for over 1 hour. I finally hung up & will try tomorrow & as long as necessary. I just want to get my money out of there. Terrible service.

TX Redbeard5Today I went into PNC Bank Temple South Branch in hopes of exchanging a torn half of a $5 bill; Potentially worth more than the $3 I have to my name. A wonderful lady helping me, informed me that there was not quite enough of the bill for the bank to be able to exchange it. Hopelessly, I asked about any other options as far as me contacting the federal reserve. Without hesitation, this heavenly woman offered me $5 out of her own pocket. When I told her how much that meant to me as it was all I had, she offered me another $5 and insisted I accept it. I desperately needed her kindness today and will use the $10 with so much thankfulness. God Bless this wonderfully kind woman.

Andraya S3New to visit inside lobby. Realize it is very calm and too quiet. Short employees and their speed process is quite slow. For me I ain't complaining for taking too long. Because of my first paper paycheck, it was small issue for not verified until Ms. T checked with other employees to know about Temple ISD paycheck. Other than that.. Ms. T was very calmly and respectively to see me as new deaf customer. She's very friendly to brought me a thank you small free gift. Because I was patiently waiting. Because of hours that soon closed at 5pm. Thanks Ms. T! 🙏🏿💞

Paul brown1Good bank but the higher ups don’t know what there doing and how to run the bank properly.I have a certain amount of money on my card to buy things and I know how much I have on my card so I don’t go into the negative but it always seems like they find a way to put me in the negative when I had the right amount of money on my card for all the purchases I made takes days to get things out of the pending status I wouldn’t advise going to this bank unless you would like to lose your money and they won’t have a clue what happened to it

Jay P.1I had planned all week long on coming up to this Bank on a Saturday morning because that was the only day I was available, I checked their hours of operation and everything and they were stated to open at 9 a.m. Saturday. I arrived at 9:30 a.m. to find the entire building closed, with no employee in sight. There was no note on the door or anything to indicate that they would remain closed all day. This is an issue for me because I had to travel to get here, and I had no prior warning or note on the door indicating that they were not indeed open.

Breanna Rodriguez1Worst bank I have ever done business with. This bank has frozen my account on multiple occasions. This was done without my acknowledgement or consent. A simple phone call, text, or email would be courteous of them as most banks do. I had to call regarding questions before anyone told me what was going on with m y account. Then, it's like pulling teeth to try to get the account unfrozen. I had to wait an ENTIRE weekend for someone to speak with leaving me with bills unpaid and no access to my own money. So inconvenient. I would absolutely not recommend this bank to even a person I despised.

David Head1Been a loyal customer for 4 years and just cannot get past the incredibly SLOW teller lines. The folks are very nice, but people's time is simply more valuable than that & they have no regard for it. I waited inside in line Friday over 15 minutes making me late to pick up my kids, and just now waited 12 minutes In the drive through and nobody was in front of me! I'm closing my accounts asap (personal, business, and merchant) and switching banks.

David Thornton1Not so much the branch but the phone reps are not trustworthy at all. Had issue with a charge for a statement when I'm clearly on paperless statements. I got that resolved only to have the same phone rep put a hold in my bank card. After 45 minutes and three hang ups. I was told Oh you have to go to the branch to prove who you are to unlock your card. So is this what they are going to do to me when I travel to Florida this summer and need to get gas from time to time I asked? Oh no sir we just want to know when and where you are going. So I ask what business is it of yours where I travel? Then I get the Oh we are only looking out for you. yea right.........

Tony Banks1I went to this location today to use the ATM. When I arrived there was an armored truck blocking the machine. It's pouring down raining at this time. I patiently wait at a distance. After 20 minutes, frustration is setting in. The driver/tech never acknowledged me and no bank representative was present. I turned my truck around and went into the bank. Once inside I'm greeted with "Wait a second boss man" not sir, but boss man. I am black and I had my work shirt on so I guess I don't deserve the standard greeting every other customer recieves. I explained that someone should be out there to tell me how long it will take to access the Atm. The teller apologized and proceeded to explain why the truck was there, but no resolution other than that. I personally believe my attire of a simple work shirt and my skin color was a major factor in how the teller responded to me. I think the tech should have a sign placed there as to how long before the Atm will be available or a bank employee should greet the cars to give an estimated wait time.

Judy Brown1Definitely need better customer service. I have been with this bank for over 10 years and I have seen the customer service decline over the years. Need friendlier staff that greet you and actually communicate with you.
