  My husband and I were super satisfied with our loan originator, Blake McPherson. He made our experience with Platinum Financial really great and went above and beyond to make sure he got us into the home that we fell in love with. There was constant communication and Blake always let us know about the status of our mortgage and where we were in the loan process. We really felt like he had our back during the entire process, we got an amazing interest rate on our mortgage, and Blake made us feel really comfortable about purchasing our first home as newlyweds. Platinum Financial also throws in a lot of personal touches that made us feel like they genuinely cared about what we needed for our home loan and they seemed just as excited as we were when we received our keys to our new front door! I would definitely recommend Platinum Financial to anyone looking to buy a home or refinance, and Blake McPherson is an exceptional mortgage loan originator.

  Blake and Mark were excellent to deal with. They put our minds at ease throughout the entire process and were very diligent in answering any questions we had.   My experience with Platinum Financial Funding and Josh weekly was overall very good he helped us with any questions and getting the proper paperwork to the proper people as we really had never purchased a home before so he was very helpful and we appreciate that my only question or concern is nobody told us that our loan would be sold immediately to an out-of-town company we thought we were doing business with the local company that's what we wanted to do that's what we had in mind so I don't know if that's good or bad but anyway we wanted to do business with a local company and immediately upon completion it was sold to an out-of-state company

  Incorrect information and lack of ability to complete work hired for. I went to platinum financial finding in CLEVELAND TENNESSEE because my credit score was not high enough for a usda loan with a bank(or so I thought) and I was told we can do that loan no problem! So the process started off smooth, I got all paperwork submitted and they said they were working on it, I waited for a month checking in with them,but they said were working on it, just getting everything together! then two months and all they ever asked for were updated pay stubs and money for an appraisal that never happened, thankfully they didn't cash my check.I went to the originator who was working my file and he finally told me that they were unable to complete a usda loan because my dti was too high, and payment shock. What in the world is payment shock? So, we tried for a fha loan after being told that Thda would be the same case as usda. Oh I forgot to mention that they said my credit score was a 645, barely squeaking by and my dti was a 39 and had to be under 40. So all requirements were met. I was going to go for the fha loan when my realtor said to get a second opinion, so I did. The bank I switched to (southern heritage) pulled my credit, it was actually a 678, they got everything together for the Thda lone and got me taken care of and closed on the Loan in less then 30 days. Something that platinum financial finding failed to do in 3 months. Seems like it was a scam to get your credit score lower so they can make more money on interest. Haha
