  This bank, and more specifically this location, is absolutely fantastic. They have helped me get re-established in the States, and guided me through the process of rebuilding my credit. I now have a visa and a car loan through them. Looking forward to a mortgage with them next year. Highly recommend!

  I cannot say enough about my experiences with Pioneer Federal Credit Union in Hailey, Idaho. When COVID hit, the management went right to work uploading a virtual assistant to handle the majority of drive through customers and to make appointments for those people who had to handle their banking face to face. Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Ivy Sherburne, Branch Manager, at this Hailey branch. Ivy was so helpful, diligent, and efficient, my loan was completed with ease within days of my application. Ivy made the experience pleasurable.

  I will never deal with PFCU again. For the most part everything was pretty straightforward with a big catch. After I paid off my vehicle loan, I only had a small balance left in the savings account. I had no other accounts or products. I kind of forgot about the account, but wanted to keep it for ATM use when I was traveling on the western side of the state. Without any kind of notice (except the fine print of the terms), after six months they started taking $5 out of my account each month for "inactivity." What costs are involved in maintaining a small savings account for a member? This equates to something like 1200X the interest they are paying (currently at .05%). The days of forgetting about an account and being surprised years later by the power of compounding interest are over. I've attached the letter I sent for entertainment.

  Excellent service, and easy to work with whether it's simple account questions or getting a car loan. I don't have nearly as many problems as I've had with the big banks in the past, rates are competitive, and fees are lower. The only drawback is the limited number of branches and member ATMs, but the tradeoff is well worth it.

  I came here hoping for a better banking experience and I found it. Way better then my previous two. They are great people and easy to work with. They are always pretty speedy when it comes to transactions as well. Good people good bank.

  I’ve been working with Pioneer Federal Credit Union in Hailey for 25 years. I have acquired and paid off 1 house loan and 2 car loans , all with Ivy Sherbine. She always goes the extra mile for us. Who can say working with their bank feels like family- I can.

  I switched to this bank hoping for something better. So far it has some nice features.. But more than not the atm doesn't work and now the whole system is offline so I have no access to my account or money and the atm at the bank does not work. Not impressed

  The place is awesome! All the employees there are super nice, Liz has been super chill with me and everytime im there im basically just talking to a friend. 100% RECOMEND!!!!
