  Thank you Phil! Phil was very easy to work with. He is easy to get a hold off and communicates quickly. They have an online portal for the application process. You are able to upload your documents and eSign everything very easily. This was a great experience and I highly recommend Phil!

  I am so glad my financial adviser recommended Phil to support me in refinancing my mortgage! I told my adviser I was interested in paying down my mortgage and getting a new loan so he recommended Phil. I really had a great experience with Phil and found him to be professional, respectful, efficient and understanding. He did a great job of succinctly communicating with me for the documents I needed to provide and moved things along very efficiently. He did not try and sell or push anything onto me and asked questions to find out exactly the kind of loan and circumstances I wanted. I am happy with my new loan and was able to get it processed while working with minimal interference in my daily routines. Thank you Phil for provide such a pleasant mortgage refinance experience!

  I recently worked with Phil Caulfield to refinance my home. This is the second time I worked with Phil on a refi and I would highly recommend him. The refi process can be demanding and highly detailed oriented, but Phil made the process so much easier. His attention to detail, expert guidance, responsiveness and collaboration made him an ideal partner to tackle this. In the two years between the separate refi's, Phil would periodically touch base to let me know about changing interest rates and home values. I appreciate that level of customer service. I'm so glad I took advantage of the lower interest rate while it was still available and I'm very glad I worked with Phil again. He's the best.

  Phil Caufield is a professional in his field of mortgage brokerage. I have always 3 requirements of people who I chose to do business with. 1 is communicating with me on a timely and truthful basis. I don’t need surprises or last minute requests for documents or explanations regarding my mortgage application or financial requirements to make me loan eligible. Phil is great at anticipating requested or required documentation earlier than later so we were prepared for any funding questions of the lender. Number 2 in my list of requirements is Integrity and Phil has always shown to me that it is part of his DNA. I always feel like he is looking out for his client (Me) and getting financing that benefits me first rather than what might benefit him first. Number 3 is demeanor of the person I am dealing with. Phil is always calm and reassuring and knowledgeable about the process of obtaining a loan and that goes along way for a client who is often under short time constraints to close a loan. I certainly thought of Phil as a partner to me whose primary goal was to do right by me and obtain the funding I needed to reach my financial goal. He delivered in a professional and timely manner.   September 2019 update: Having been in my house for quite a few years, my 60 plus year old ranch style home was in a desperate need of a full kitchen gut and bathroom updates. With construction costs rising, I turned to Phil fCaulfield for the best mortgage option when I decided to refinance to fund my construction project. Phil kept the process on track and very quickly, with all the paperwork in place, the loan was funded. Securing the new mortgage was the easy part and I can't wait get to started on the new kitchen! I've known Phil for a few years, and he has always been so knowledgeable about the mortgage industry. When refinancing my home in Willow Glen this year, Phil navigated the entire process, from start to finish with such professionalism and of course, with an attentive eye for the smallest detail. He really made the re-fi seem seamless and super-easy. I appreciate the fact, that Phil is always reachable either by phone or email and he he was willing to go the "extra-mile" for me. Home buying, refinancing and overall financial planning can be so daunting, it's good to know that you have a reputable guy on your side, like Phil Caulfield. I highly recommend!

  I cannot recommend too highly Phil Caulfield’s services as a loan broker. I have obtained other loans in past 35+ years for both residential and commercial properties, including apartment buildings, and I have always dreaded the process, in part, because of the complicated demands and procedures of the underwriters. Phil made this process much easier and less stressful due to his knowledge, experience, and expertise, as well as his prompt and consistent attention to the lender’s demands and my compliance with its requirements. In addition, Phil promptly returns telephone calls, and investigates and researches matters when complicated or unusual issues arise during the loan application period. So, I am very grateful to Phil for his assistance, and also to the person who referred Phil to me for my real property loan.
