Worst lender of all time. Worst customer service. If you have a chance to use someone different, do it. Just processed a refinance with another company and was told to stop my auto payments. I changed it to the 15th a few days before November 1. Payment still went through and these morons told me I had to make that change by the 20th the previous month. Essentially their website is from the 1990's and so is their efficiency. Finally, is it too much to ask to get routed to a call in America these days? I'm so sick of listening to someone read off a script who is being paid slave wages. It's gross. This company is gross and should be put out of business.

Been trying to make pmts since July and again when their attorney said to in Sept. Pmts made western union and have confirmation numbers but saying still didnt get them. Have had this home 21 years now they want to take it? No way. Hope not and in active.forclosure and will not let me speak to anyone here in states and telling me do same stuff over and over while demanding new amounts every time. Will send 1 more time then getting my own attorney involved. Sad this is happening to so many! Ppl fight!! This has to stop! Bad business since they took over. Nothing but trouble now.UPDATE: I finally proved i had done everything they asked and (with lots more to this)and made 5 days and 4 nights worth of calls, emails, to everyone i could literally and with maybe an hour to spare was able to keep my home. I am going to go back thru all my papers and put the site on here that helped me most and could you too i hope. I pray for all to keep your homes and not give up. There are ppl out there listening and still believe in whats right so hang in there and hopefully the info i provide helps others as well. Ill find it real soon just gotta breathe 1 second. Woohoo!!!

I am extremely dissatisfied with this company. I never chose them, my mortgage was acquired when they merged with Ocwen...they were awful as well. Their customer service is substandard. They choose to us offshore back office support rather than American workers. Ridiculous hold times...absolutely the worst!

Absolutely terrible customer service. It's been 6 months now of "processing.. check back in 10 days" only to find that after 10 days nothing has happened. Over and over again.

This place is just as bad (if not worse) as Ocwen. My grandmother has had nothing but trouble with these people. She's on a fixed income, has applied countless times for a loan modification only for them to keep telling her they can't help but they can help her sell her house. Are they insane? She wants her house. Has had it since 1970. These people can kick rocks. I'm currently looking into some possibilities for refinance if I can help her get away from these criminals.

This is a very disorganized and inefficient mortgage company. Ocwen was much better. You can't reach someone to help you on the phone and when you do, they have no real answers for you. Furthermore, they don't offer a way to pay online unless you want to pay the exact amount they request, which leaves you no other choice but to mail the payment. The payment takes forever to post and that might have you incur a late fee. Totally backwards system.

Would not recommend as a mortgage company, was rooked into using them by a realtor. I have an annual battle with them on my escrow account and their contracted payment provider that allows you to make bi-weekely payments to lower the principal faster (by the way they charge a monthly fee for this that was not disclosed until after the loan was closed). Their customer service department is farmed out to the Philippines or India, they speak poor english and you can never get someone in the NJ office to help. Today I called to cancel my PMI and got the usual run around, was put on hold for someone that spoke english in NJ, waited over 15 minutes ion hold then was cut off. Bottom line, do not get a mortgage with them, do your homework, go somewhere with better customer service. I would give them 0 stars if Google had the option.

Horrible service, I have been charged for three months now addtional escrow that was paid the previous year. PHH each month tells me they resolved it but yet charge me each month. each time I'm told they do an analysis and one will tell me i will be sent a hard check back for the amounts paid, and the others tell me it goes to my prnicipal. after three months it has yet to be resolved. it has been nothing short of chaos since PHH has taken over my mortgage. I would be hard pressed to recommend their services to anyone.

Unfortunately, my mortgage was sold to this company. Customer service is terrible. Generally takes 15 minutes to talk to someone about the mistake they made. You'll get transferred from dept. to dept. within the call center. Avoid at all costs.

Definitely the worst thing that has ever happened to me. Was out of work for 2mos and from day 1 tried to do a modification, company dragged the modification out for 1yr and wouldn't allow payments to restart while they deliberated. Once modification was completed I found out that they were reporting non-payment to credit bureaus. Credit score dropped from 765-522 because of these scam artists. Trying to dispute with them but looks like I will need to take legal action. Show them no loyalty because they will show you none. I could have refinanced through hundreds of others... LESSON LEARNED
