  Peter has been a trusted lender for my family for years. He helped my brother with 2 homes, my sister with one, and supported answering questions for my parents (who weren't his clients) when they were purchasing their retirement home. My family has referred business to him so when it was finally time for me to buy my first house, it was an easy decision to go with Peter. Peter went above and beyond for me. He answered all of my questions, was patient with my not-made-for-math mind, and was easy to get in touch with. And when I asked, "is there anything else I'm forgetting?" he would take his time to run through current steps and next steps to make sure I understood all the parts of purchasing a property. Response time is a big consideration for me when doing business with any company, especially when we're talking commitments of this magnitude. If Peter couldn't answer the phone, he would text or email me within minutes to let me know when he had time to connect and always called when he said he would.   We contacted Peter by recommendation to obtain information about how to use the equity in our home. He explained all of the options we thought we had and we found out that a refinance would better fit our needs, both short and long term. Peter walked us through every step, kept in close contact and made sure there were no surprise. The whole team at GR and their associates were professional and friendly and answered every email and call promptly. The whole process only tookabout six weeks.   Peter is the best! He has helped several members of our family purchase homes. There is no one we would rather have had help us. He got licensed in MD to help us purchase our first home.   FLAWLESS. Peter is THE best. My families have been working with Peter for 8+ years. I recommend him to EVERYONE. Even strangers on FB who ask for recommendations. He’s helped my husband and I, my brother’s family, and now my sister through NJ, FL & GA. I know he’s helped many in other states as well. I know we’re always getting the best guidance, and the most current information on the ever changing scene of how real estate and mortgages work. And he gives us options of how we want this HUGE transaction to fit into our lifestyle and our future. He and his team are always available to answer questions and they take their time. There were conversations when I’ll have 5 questions within his one sentence, one explanation leads to a waterfall of other questions and he explains, in detail, terms I don’t understand, and all the ways it would affect our outcomes. Peter always goes above and beyond, working with our realtor (another impeccable guy to work with, Marco Guadanini in Sarasota), and even talking with the seller’s realtor to ensure she was clear on all the information from our offer. In what can be one of the most stressful times and transactions of your life, especially if you don’t know all the terms, twists and turns of the real estate industry/mortgages, you will be SO thankful you have someone who works as hard as Peter Traum on your side. No joke, I really can not say enough good things about him. This is who you want to help you buy a home.

  Peter was wonderful! This was my first time buying a home, so all of the information (and there is a lot!) was new to me. Peter took the time to walk me through all the details and explained everything very well. (I am not a maht person, but I understood everything he said.) Peter was extremely accessible and even came to the closing to ensure that everything went through properly. Buying in this market is crazy! But Peter was the right guy to have on my team to make it seamless and less stressful. (I even closed in 30 days! The process with Guaranteed Rate made it easy.)
